Short and Frosty: Christy’s Not-So-Excellent Adventure to Alison’s House
It just doesn’t get any easier to understand the absolutely woeful state of the BC Liberal ship, than to simply take apart Christy’s visit to Alberta yesterday.
In order to fully appreciate how interminably dense the Premier and her people are, know this: The only time she or any issue she’s embraced received even a lukewarm up in the polls, it was when, not long ago, 77% of BCers thought we might be better off getting more money for all the risks associated with the proposed Enbridge pipeline.
What the genius set with Team Clark failed to read, was that, from the beginning, BCers are overwhelmingly against the pipeline proposal as its sits, regardless of the money.
They can’t even read a poll properly!!!
So, having miserably failed at everything she’s done since having her ex-husband and his cronies steal the leadership for her, Clark ventured from the beginning, to appear as if she supported the pipeline, after she appeared to reject it.
Then she supported it, but now she’s rejecting it again–on environmental grounds that EVERYONE, including aboriginal groups and even support groups, agreed to long ago.
So, she was for it, then against it, but then for it again, and now against it!!!
Phew! John Kerry couldn’t keep up with such flip flops!
Regardless, Christy ventured back to Alberta and had a fifteen minute conversation with Premier Alison Redford (um, don’t be shocked, as that’s what a real Premier looks and sounds like) before the Preem of Texas North felt like tossing ‘Short and Frosty’ from the office window.
And once, again, for the umpteenth time, the confused statements by Premier Dimwit were astounding!
Redford gave her every opportunity to demonstrate what the increase in compensation for BC might look like.
Clark’s response? “That’s not my job, that’s her (Redford’s) job!” REALLY??? The Premier of Alberta should be telling the people of British Columbia what they should want as fair compensation for the Enbridge pipeline to go through??? The Premier of Alberta should be doing the bidding of the people of this province???
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
ROTFLMAO! Is Clark really this stupid? Apparently so, as she can’t even negotiate simple messaging! LOL!
Then again, maybe Christy’s on to something…
Since not being able to lead the province in almost two years as Premier–as Christy’s been terrifically failing British Columbians, perhaps it’s time she allowed someone with dignity and intelligence to take over and do our province justice.
Now THERE’S an idea!
Vancouver Real Estate = Drug Money
That speech is just full of out right lies. Proof positive that you cannot trust what LIEberals and what their support say.
Liquified Natural Gas sales to Asian not economically sound. It is way to expensive compared to the alternatives. .15 cents versus 17 dollars per cubic meter. It is just your Government throwing tax payers money into the toilet to give the allusion of doing something. Communist Chinese government money being used to create a economic collapse in the future. Not a good investment, bad corporate welfare.
Mining operations lets talk about the Chinese Communist Shell company wanting to bring in 2600 of there citizens to work an underground coal mine, Oh I mean 650 workers now.
Most jobs created, the trend is down all the way down, in less than 10 years the LIEbreals and their supporters have taken a forestry work force of 580,000 people and reduced it to less than 80,000. The illegal drug trade now employes more people in BC than forestry thanks to LIEbreals and their supporters of organized crime and corruption.
The port has been growing but the rate of growth has been slowing with other ports and canal service eating BC ports service lunch. Coal aside what Port growth is showing is slow death. With no manufacturing industry in British Colombia, to really speak of, and other markets finding cheaper ways to Asian markets, that by pass BC, widening of the Panama Canal, New State of the art ports facilities being Built by the Communist Chinese in the United States and Latin America . The long term out look for British Colombia’s West Coast Ports is dismal. Communist China has already invested over 50 Billion in Washington building it’s beach head port facility in Seattle.
Why is this all happening, because we vote for penny stock fraud artists and confidence swindlers with their bimbos to occupy public office. These folks are all about selling you out, your jobs, your children’s education, your parents health care and housing, in a get rich quick plan that has them rich and retired to palm springs and you holding all the debt, unemployment and homelessness.

Great article Alex!
This is slightly off topic, but any news on John Vandongen`s fight to get to the truth with the BCRail fiasco? Is there any more court dates planned? Living here Abbotsford, some people are wondering when
some facts will come out as to what Mike Dejong`s actual involvement was in the sale.
Thanks again Alex,
Kerry

I’ll check with vanDongen and get back to you.
I haven’t spoken to him in a while.

Closing arguments are scheduled for December 3rd and 4th.

Hi Alex,
Sorry, off topic. Do you know who or what controls when gasoline price increases in BC?
[Translate]
Using the following as a guide
“Clark attended Simon Fraser University (SFU), the Sorbonne in France and the University of Edinburgh in Scotland” would one expect her to add “…and attended the University of Calgary…”.

ROTFL!

It’s becoming physically painful hearing Crispy Crunch make a complete, utter fool of herself every time she opens her pie hole in public. That’s bad enough all by itself, but why does she have to dress like her work address is the corner of Davie and Bute? She’s waaaayyy beyond simply being an embarrassment.

Christy’s threat to cut off power for the Enbridge pipeline construction is contrary to the operating principles and Article 15 of the Trade, Investment, and Labour Mobility Agreement (TILMA) between Alberta and BC. Is she planning on tearing that agreement up?
http://www.tilma.ca/pdf/TILMA_Agreement_April2009.pdf
Whether one agrees with TILMA, or the pipeline for that matter, that ill-conceived threat must make all of our neighbors wonder what other agreements she would violate in a snit to get her way?
[Translate]
She did not know it existed, let alone what it means.
[Translate]
Ya it probably has big words.!
[Translate]
She most likely has NO CLUE about (TILMA). She is just acting like a bratty teenager using idle threats. This woman has to be expunged from her positoin, the sooner the better for everyone! I do hope the Alberta government knows about the way she is and her lack of popularity in BC. What a painful embarassment! Geez, Louise!!!
[Translate]
Honestly, it’s beyond belief how embarrassing she is.

Article 3: No Onstacles
1. “Each Party shall ensure that its measures do not operate to restrict or impair trade between or through the territory of the Parties, or investment or labour mobility between the Parties.”
To Christy’s people: Please put a muzzle on this sad excuse for a leader. She is detrimental to the province, its people and its stature.
The province and the country are watching, and she is embarrassing us. Regularly.
Do you understand? She’s embarrassing you too.
SHE IS NOT QUALIFIED. Cause for termination.

She is truly embarrassing.

in my opinion, the “threat” to not supply power is just a tactic to hopefully draw support for Ms. Clark. It won’t work. Its a less than stupid comment. Everyone knows the lieberals tore up the HEU contracts, after saying they wouldn’t, and throwing 9K women out of jobs. Now this same group is threatening to not abide by other contracts. Christie ought to know the hospital cleaners won in court. The people she is threatening have much wider ranging resources, not to mention it will simply say to everyone, you sign a deal with the B.C. lieberals & it isnt’ worth the paper it is written on. Sort of like some contracts which are signed by the Communist Chinese government. Oh, maybe that’s where she got the idea.
The pipeline must not proceed nor should the oil tankers. However, to accomplish that we must act in a principled manner. If all else fails then we can move on to other things. To start firing with your biggest ammo the first time out leaves nothing in reserve. If one were to use cutting the power as a method of keeping the pipeline from being built, you don’t talk about it first. You simply let them go ahead & then pull the switch to off when they arrrive in our province, but you don’t talk about it first. Gives them time to get their court orders in place in advance & to try to remove you from your position before an election, if they take you seriously at all.
The increase in gas prices this morning certainly lead me to conclude it would be best if we had a Canada first policy when it comes to oil. We keep it in Canada so its citizens can use it & save some money. This money is currently being sent overseas because the oil companies making the profits aren’t keeping their money here. If Canada were to keep its oil in Canada for Canadians we might even see some manufacturing returning to Canada.
The Chinese are playing a smart game. Get control of as much oil/gas/bitamen as possible & then play one country off against the other. Japan did it with coal back in the day.
None of this resource exploitation by foreign corprs/countries has any long term benefits for Canada. Once China owns companies in Canada they will bring in their own workers and harper has already made that easier to do. People need to understand that with China’s one child policy they have 30 million more men than women.

That’s ok Luigi, Christy read it as no popsicles, anyway.

nice to see the blog is up & running again. From last evening until around 10:30 a.m. all I could get was a notice saying there was an error.
looking forward to other columns/comments.

Yes, thanks. It was supposed to be down for maintenance between 3am-4am, but we encountered a major formatting issue and needed to solve that before we prepare for the switch to the new site. Sorry for any inconvenience.
[Translate]
And now we hear that Enbridge has repeatedly tried to contact Clark to talk, and Clark is refusing.
Why Christy? Can’t do any harm to talk.
(Thought perhaps your site got bushwhacked, Alex)
[Translate]
No. Never. We were down for maintenance that was supposed to be an hour between 3am-4am, but found a major problem that was causing all sorts of issues. All these things have to get worked out before the new site goes live. Sorry for any inconvenience.

There are quite a few people Christy and the BC Liberal ilk will not talk to. Enbridge now joins the ranks of municipal leaders and strata owner representatives. Enbridge needs to disguise itself as the UDI or some other developer group so Coleman will open the premier’s door for them.,

Glad to see you back.
A little off topic, but it does relate to the Dummy, a certain savior of the country to our south, fumbled badly last night.
Using words such as, and I quote: “getting screwed over…” looking disinterested to be there, and annoyed that someone was asking him tough questions (remind you of someone……….the Dummy), the Great Orator was anything but.
Got to say, the one looking very Presidential in every way, was Mr. Romney.
New ball game now, methinks………
[Translate]
Absolutely. It amazed me how fragile Obama’s patina was/is.
The MSM were all over him. It was a resounding Romney win. I was VERY impressed with him. He was Presidential, affable, likeable, informative–and certainly not to the point of sounding boring or bored–like St. Barry of Obama.
If Romney pulls off another win in the next debate, Obama is done. In the key swing states, they are neck and neck, with Romney now trending.
GAME ON!!!

I had to laugh when not-so Good read an email from a woman who said that she liked CC when she was a talk-show host, but since she’s become premier, she’s found that CC is “quite stupid”.
[Translate]
I heard that this morning! I almost split my gut laughing.
[Translate]
There is a Good…..
Sorry, I meant God.

I was once interviewed by CC when she was a talk-show host. She was an air-head then and remains so as premier.

Off Topic. The XL Beef screw up. XL is apparently self regulating now that Harper has castrated the CIFA. Does this remind anyone of BC’s logging industry?

You can add the federal governments’ non-diclosure of GMO “non-food” from Monsatan to the list.

Trick or treat happened a little early for CC’s big trip to Alberta this year. Great costume … empty bag.
