On the Road Again this Week…

132

I’ve worked solidly through the summer. Contrary to popular belief, I actually have bills to pay. Huge ones–at least for me. Vacations are a blur.

And I’ve only taken a few days here and there, while the kids sit by the pool.

This week, I’m on the road again.

I’ll be back officially September 5th to bring you solid perspectives on the stories that matter.

Until then, be safe, healthy and happy.

Cheers!

I never realized that Mr. Falcon had a line that “mustn’t be crossed”. It will be interesting to see where that line is in the next budget.

    Dear Christy,

Do you remember when you were Deputy Premier and Minister of Education? I am most certain you do…even though after this post…I am sure you would far rather forget.

Do you remember when your calendar for both MOE and DP was combined into one…and freely shared (I might say widely) amongst staff?

Do you remember that fateful day when you told Kim Haakstad – your then Executive Assistant – to instruct staff to get rid of all copies of your combined calendar…both paper and electronic?

I’ll bet you didn’t realize that this type of request was deemed ‘unusual’ and that principled public servants stood up and took notice.

Actually, they did more that that.

They kept copies. Both paper and electronic.

    Guess what?

Or rather ‘GUESS WHO’ shows up?

Come on Christy. You know the answer. RIGHT?

Why don’t you do the RIGHT thing RIGHT now and step aside.

Seriously. We’ve had enough. Do you really want to continue with this charade?

    (EDITED: AGT)

Botticelli, please do not make such crass comments on my blog. Falcon, the Premier and Alise Mills are public figures and thus, available for scrutiny.

However, comments about them that come to crossing legal bounds will not be tolerated here. Ever.

Please respect the rules. Everyone else does–and those that don’t, are banned.

    Thank you.
