Today, Tomorrow, Wednesday and for the Rest of July…

31

Okay, so…

Christy likes secret deals…and secret dinners with Pammy…wait til you read about it…

The BCMA likes secret deals too…

And the province likes the same standard applied to the LDB giveaway, excuse me, sale…

I’ll be back later today with my thoughts on all those issues in a potpurri that you’ll enjoy…

Tomorrow, I’ll do a littleBC Rail razzle dazzle for you…

Wednesday you’ll get some opinion on the movement by far-left, American global warming alarmists and how they’re planning on using Vancouver as their guinea pig…

And then, for the rest of July…I’m going to work on some personal projects; some that will include the new blog construction, etc. I’ve been putting them off because of time constraints with other matters. So, it’s time to play catch up. I can’t decide whether I’ll be able to stay away until August 8th, but I’m going to try.

Nevertheless, you can always check in and see if anything new has gone up. Until Wednesday then, regular AGT programming, as you’ve come to enjoy it, and then beyond, I may give you a bit of a break from having to endure my cranial eruptions…

No break this summer, but lots to do.

Just wondering, is there any law enforcement body in this province that is seriously looking into the actions of the band of bandits on Belleville?
And wasn’t that cute how they shovelled the LDB shortlist out under the door between 4 and 5 Friday afternoon!!
    It just oozes sleaze.
By the way Alex, I’d wager a jug of ouzo you can’t stay away until the 8th, unless you’re doing it with family.
Cranial eruptions……it almost sounds PeeWee Hermanesque. No sorry, that’s the speaker in the Mexican parliament.

Know you are not in favor of Northern Pipeline but Ezra did great piece on ripping CC today on her narrow thinking and lack of leadership.

  3. Richardv says:

Sounds like your preparing another “must read” piece Alex. I’m looking forward to it. All the best.

Have a nice break,Alex you deserve it. Heading to the east coast for a month tomorrow, but will keep checking in. As a point of interest I recieved a Angus Reid Poll request. It appears someone is interested in finding out who would be the best leader to take the Liberals into the election. Too late for that.

Good grief Alex – we’ll go into withdrawl :-)

    • AGT says:

Take it like a man, pal.

      You’ll live… ;-)

      • Don says:

Time off, vacation… what? Time to legislate AGT as an essential service. We can do that right? lol

Have fun Alex, run throgh the sprinklers with your children, sit in a chair and stare at the view. You deserve any relaxation time you can get.

        Thanks for being you.

Oh – and there are no benefits that can take the place of a prestine environment for generations to come. I see their strategy but they still don’t even come close to being on the page with the majority of British Columbians. I watched the video of that little girl singing in response to the pipeline and I softened up and got mad and dam them if they try – cause I will get of the couch and so will my friends. Morons all of them, the best and the brightest. Now that is too f’n funny.

        Have good time AGT.

        later.

Geezus Alex, ya see, this is what happens. They’re hooked.

They want more.. more.. more.. nothing else matters. Soon a light snaps on at 1 AM in the morning, a blue glow emits from the computer station, and they sit there staring with wide eyes and frazzled hair. Hopefully not with a can of Red Bull or Beaver Buzz to get them though this episode..

They start by getting into the street junk of politics, some sod gets them hooked, and before you know it, they are freebasing on anything political.

This blog, that other one on the left side of the street, and if they’ve endured the shakes after overdosing, the Tyee…

tsk tsk tsk. Look around ya man. Some are rocking back and forth
        mumbling “Alex.. Alex.. Alex..”

then when this comes along, they have to stop cold turkey. The cold sweats, the shakes. The yelling of “Christy!” or “Kinsella” in the night

Wonder if there’s a programme.. No, that isn’t going
to work. Have to keep providing, as many can’t simply be cut off.

Ohhh man, Alex what to do..

Gotta give them something Old Boy. Something not too strong, but
enough to prevent them from going into withdrawl panic attacks..

Wouldn’t want to lose any of the readers here. But seeing them quaking isn’t going to be fun either.

You have to give them something Alex. They’re too valuable to lose.

This is what being a political blog junkie is like. It’s not a bad as freebasing on political parties. That junk will kill ya if you don’t know how to control the habit.

        • AGT says:

I had a well-know BC politician recently describe this blog as “the crack cocaine” of all blogs.

So, I replied: “Do you mean my writing reads like I’m on narcotics?”

She laughed for about a half hour…

          • Seymour Forest says:

I would figure that people are thinkin’

“Alex’s blog.. It’s good stuff, man. Top quality snow, ya know?. It will give you a high that lasts for hours. If ya to get high without freebasing on that BC Liberal and NDP junk, Alex’s stuff is it. It’ll flip ya out.

“Wha’ ’bout CKNW’s Bill Good? :

No no, man… don’t ever touch that stuff. It’s bad junk. Will give ya a bad ride, man. Bad scene.

Gotta tell ya, there’s alot of bad junk goin’ around out there. Baldrey, Palmer.. Bad junk.

You’ll be hallunciating if you get ito that stuff.

            “So Alex’s blog is good”

OOooooooooo yehhhhhhhh.. Best stuff on the street, man.

But don’t take too much at one time. You’ll be hooked, thinkin’ politics all the time, and always thinking of your next Alex Blog hit. Nothing else matters..

Nothing else matters, man.. Nothing else matters..

Best thing is just take a little at a time. Pass it around, man..

That will be OK, Alex. Going to be out of BC late next week and the week after. Won’t have to worry if I missed something! LOL

Looking forward to reading more of the truth. On another note would like to ask your opinion of writer Terry Glavin,I have come across some of his writings while I have been reading about Enbridge, the Chinese Govt. Sinopec, Harper ,Richard Fadden and I am not afraid to admit I am afraid for BC and Canada after reading some of these stories.

    • AGT says:

Terry Glavin is one of Canada’s finest writers. I am privileged to call him a friend–although a distant one.

He gets it and writes with great passion and clarity. Absolutely superb.

  9. Swampy says:

Are you going to be linking some spec ific wealthy left wing philanthropists to the various left wing Vancouver groups and the current group of protestors and their political wing at city hall? Having observed many gatherings/protests, I often see the same faces again and again. Besides being gov’t funded artists, I often wonder where they get the financial funding to protest here and across the country.
Anyways Alex, don’t wear yourself out. Pace yourself….. You need time for your family and yourself.

  10. On Vacation says:

Well, regretably I have to say that it will be a relief for me. I’m having a lot of trouble keeping caught up with your blog and its superb commentators (I’m currently on a dial up).

I am in Johnsons Landing and have been since July 10th. I was here when the fatal slide came down, and have been here ever since. I consider myself one of the luckiest people in the world as I am alive and my house is still standing. Some of my fellow community members were not so lucky. The outpouring of sorrow and offers of help warmed my heart.

And then Christy offered hers and it put a stain on it all. Anything she could do…at all…for the people of Johnsons Landing….puke. I won’t hold my breath.

I will say, however, that our highways company (YRB) and BC Hydro have been unbelievably fantastic. Yes, we have 3 lengthy power outages in less than 10 days, but considering the poles were buried under 3-5 metres of mud (“They’re difficult to climb” one linesman said), and we’ve had 2 savage wind storms, that’s not bad. Our road into our side of the hamlet was gone – replaced by a 40 m wide and 10 m deep chasm. They built a new temporary road in 3 days and the permanent one went in last night.

Kudos to the actual “workers” of BC. The bottom feeders (Christy and company) can kiss my surviving ass!

Thank you for holding their heads to the fire where they belong, Alex! <3

I too got a call from the liberal party requesting some info. my response………..”click”……..try and have a good holiday Alex

I’ll counter your Ketel One with a crock of Glenkinchie.

  13. Brian Kieran's Diary says:

Anyone else feel like having a little protest on the BC Day Monday at the Art Gallery? It’d be nice for a bunch of like minded BC residents to say how ticked off we are with this incompetent government, the Enbridge pipeline, etc.

    POWER TO THE PEOPLE

  14. Richardv says:

Your bang on about the BCMA and their “special treatment” by this government. It’s shameful. The BCMA and it’s members need to suck it up like the rest of us in health care. They may get quite a wake up call after the next election if they don’t.
