‘EXCLUSIVE’ BREAKING NEWS: DID CHRISTY CLARK’S NEW PRESS GURU COMMIT TO AN OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE THE FIRST TIME AROUND???
As you all know, Mike Morton is a very skilled press man. I’ve made this point repeatedly.
On Sunday last, he appeared on the Sean Leslie show, and among the fluff and softballs, he spun, twisted, messaged…
…and lied. This is what we’ve come to expect of the Clark group, but do you notice that the deeper she gets, the more frequent the BC Rail players are trotted out to protect her???
What?! What BC Rail players? Mr. Morton? And his unimpeachable integrity? The love in with Sean Leslie was nausea-inducing, to be sure, but nothing could strike fear into the heart of man who thinks he’s going to get an easy ride than lying about me.
I DID NOT receive any document(s), not now, not ever from Dave Basi or Bob Virk. Ever. Never. Morton is delusional if he thinks I’m going to let him get away with that…considering his own history of deflection and stick-handling where the corrupt sale of BC Rail is concerned.
Last week, after I released the Basi memo implicating Christy Clark as a serial leaker of Cabinet information, I received the following email from someone in Victoria.
I have removed only the last paragraph as it could identify this person.
Have a careful read:
“When the legislature was raided in 2003, the BC Liberals needed a place to hide evidence that they didn’t want to turned over to police. A large stack of boxes was moved from the Premiers office to room 088-A of the parliament buildings. These boxes were labelled “Premier Gordon Campbell’sfiles” and “Lara Dauphinee’s files”. There was all kinds of Cabinet information including BC rail documents. One example of documents was that there was polling information on BC Rail that Basi/Virk defence asked for in pre-trial, but they were told by the judge “this is a fishing expedition”. Meanwhile the information was intentionally hidden.
The hiding room is in the East annex, occupied by BC government members. The reason for moving them to this location was that MLA business was covered under “vote one”. There was no obligation to turn this evidence over as the court did not have a right to see it. A funny thing happened though in June of 2010. The judge ordered MLA information regarding BC Rail to be turned over. It was a huge, precedent setting decision that shocked the BC Liberals. This created a huge problem for the BC Liberals.
A cover up ensued and evidence, was disposed of. There is a lot of email evidence to support this if an Liberal MLA were to request this of their
Caucus. How did they manage to cover up this evidence?A man named Mike Morton was dispatched to the Government Caucus in the form of Executive Director. In this role he was able to masterfully juggle all the parts of trial, from paying the Lawyers representing MLAs, (including Christy Clark) to making sure the information requested by the defence was never turned over, to spinning media away from the truth. Many people think that it was “just time” for Mike Morton to move on from press secretary, and they are dead wrong. The premiers office was so pissed off by Mike Morton “fucking up” by sitting at the Omnitrax lobbying table, he
was told by Martyn Brown “you fucked up, you fix it”.So now you see BC Rail clean-up man, Mike Morton ride to the rescue in Christy Clark’s premier’s office. He arrived within days of your news hitting the
premiers office. You think he is there because he is qualified? He is that, but it is not the reason.”
Some context: Mike Morton, while employed as a staffer to the Premier (Gordon Campbell) saw nothing wrong with sitting at the table of OmniTRAX during the 2003 BC Liberal Leader’s Dinner. A key staffer in the Premier’s office saw nothing wrong with sitting at the table of one of the bidders through an ACTIVE process.
Now, um, Mike…still there? Care to comment on all of this? Already dispatched goons to that room to remove anything that’s left???
The author of the above email is not some quack. They clearly know a lot more than just this. They’re sending you a very strong message–through me.
More so, they’re suggesting you committed an obstruction of justice. Did you, Sir? Did you do that?
And another thing: Why did you pay Christy Clark’s legal bill? She was gainfully employed at CKNW in June of 2010. Why did taxpayers pick up her legal tab. Can you explain any of this? Did you talk to her about it? What about your good friend Brian Kieran? Did you ever talk to him about any of this?
I’m sure it’s just a big old misunderstanding and you’re as lily white as the Premier with respect to the sale of BC Rail.
Welcome back, Mike. Aren’t you glad you were so chatty with your buddy Seaner on the weekend?
This is just round one.
Let’s see how you’re faring by early evening.
After you’ve cleaned yourself, first.
***********************
A CHALLENGE TO THE MEDIA: Ask Mr. Morton to release the billings of the lawyers he paid on behalf of MLAs and the justification for it (this is with respect to Basi-Virk). Also, why Ms. Clark’s lawyer, too? She was no longer in government, long out of it, in fact. There was no obligation to pay her bill, she should be paying her own damn lawyer.
A CHALLENGE TO BC LIBERAL MLAs: How much longer are you going to spit in the face of taxpayers? How much longer are you going to wait? How much more time are you going to allow the embarrassment to remain the most unqualified Premier in BC history? Do you not see that any of her defenders are unworthy of working for the people–who you all continue to disrespect with your silence and complicity???
Morton was on with Marcella Bernardo on ‘NW over the weekend and stated he was surprised certain commentators on that station covered the Basi memo. I think it would only be fair if he appeared on ‘NW with those commentators (Simi Sara or Jon McComb), and explained to us why he was surprised. And while he’s at it, he could give us his explanation regarding room 088-A.
I’m sure they’d love to have him, but my guess is he’ll angle for a safe seat across from Buffoon Bill, or suddenly become too busy to do any interviews at all.
[Translate]
Salvo #1, this can only get better. Go for the kill Alex, they deserve it.
[Translate]
I was right, room 088-A is code for “kiss your ass goodbye.”
Somehow I am glad he is back in the spotlight. That will make it that much easier to expose him for what he is.
[Translate]
Agreed. It astounds me that Christy and Morton would be so stupid to return to the scene of the crime, but we all know how those movies ended. The psychiatrists always had a long winded explanation on how these psychopathic narcissistic types of scumbags think if they come back, that no one will suspect them cause the public and the law is generally stupid. Wrongo ! I guess we have to call them Dummy and Dumber from here on in.
As I mentioned on the previous post, how come Morton isn’t screaming that Christy and the government is going to sue for breach of confidentiality if they are so convinced Basi sent the memo ? I hope Basi sues them for libeling him to be breaching it with zero proof.
[Translate]
If that doesn’t smack of cover-up I don’t know what does. Where is Adrian Dix in holding them all to account.
We need to call an election now to get rid of the whole works who are crooks. If the general public did any of this we would be sitting in jail right now. Then they have the nerve to call themselves honorable!
Where is the honor in any of them.
Excuse me Alex but I am boiling mad right now, and especially since they got personal on your family. You have never let anyone attack personal on
Christy’s son, that is why I respect you, and you also have reported unbiased on all parties.
[Translate]
They won’t call an election. They want to leave their stench lingering in the legislature for as long as possible. CC and her merry band of thugs are making Campbell look like an angel, albeit with broken wings.
[Translate]
Gordon Campbell looks like Florwnce Nightengale right about now.
Well, not quite…
[Translate]
And CC looks like Nurse Ratchet! *grin*
[Translate]
No, Gordon Campbell looks like Boris Yeltsin.
[Translate]
BRAVO!!!!!, this isnt a kaboom, this is a 9 on the richter scale !!!
[Translate]
I had an interesting exchange with Vaughn Palmer a couple of weeks ago, he seemed a bit miffed when I told him I dont enjoy his work as much as I used to, and he asked why.
I told him that he is a good writer, has good connections and lots of experience but i cant stomach his undying support of such a failed governmnet full of morally bankrupt people.
He then tries to convince me he has been ‘hard’ on the government and has no allegiances to them at all……..
I was stunned….he doesnt get it…..I dont think any of them do….including Morton.
Is this like Stockholm Syndrome or some sort of mental disorder?
These are intelligent, experienced people…..that cant see past the tips of their own noses…..are they dirty??? Why are they complicit??
This isnt a TV show – but it sure could be……..
[Translate]
I had a similar exchange with Mr. Palmer last week. He’s not completely idiotic, but he needs to wake up and realize he’s in the wrong when it comes to spinning for the Fiberals.
[Translate]
Vaughn is hardly an idiot.
But he hasn’t covered this story as he should.
Not even close. He skewered Bill and Glen for much less.
[Translate]
Most interesting,I think Conrad Black went to to jail for something simular to this….About time the horsemen got off their collective asses and complete what they omitted the first time around.
[Translate]
Bad sample. Connie Black should have never gone to jail.
Ever. It was a politically motivated witch-hunt. Although, if I were him, I woul have just cut a cheque for the six million Hollinger was asking for and be done with it.
[Translate]
Really? You would have cut a check?
I doubt it. You could have looked the other way when charges were threatened on BC Rail, you didn’t.
Why pretend you’re a pussy?
[Translate]
The two examples are not like.
I would have that cheque on the condition of a mutual release.
Easy. BC Rail is a different matter.
[Translate]
Black stole from a public company. The only politics involved were to lessen the penalties he should have received. You rail against people not living up to their duty, usually in a fiduciary context. Surely Black abrogated the responsibility that he had towards his share holders, just as politicians seem to be doing towards their shareholders, the people of B.C.
[Translate]
Connie Black, whom I privileges to be acquainted with, made his company $1.1 billion net before he was jailed for essentially not entirely knowing what he was carrying out of office.
If he stole $60M–after making me $1.1B I’d tell him to take another $100M and one of the planes, too.
What a failure! It was a fucking witch hunt. Disgraceful beyond words.
[Translate]
You may want to take a few days to reflect upon that post. Black stole money from shareholders. He was supposed to work in the best interests of those shareholders. He did not. If we accept your thesis, the CEO of a corporation earning 8.8 billion would be entitled to steal 480 million. Thankfully, this is not the way business is done in the civilized world. Black did exactly as you charged the B.C. liberals of doing, hiding and/or destroying documents inimitable to a prosecution. If you really hold the views you’ve stated regarding Black, perhaps everything else you’ve written is suspect.
[Translate]
Bullshit.
Black didn’t “steal.” Show me the evidence. The boxes he took away, were part of a prearranged deal with the state officer. They documents amounted to NOTHING. Have you read the evidence? Apparently not. He didn’t work in the best interest of shareholders? He made them BILLIONS! He took noncompetes, yes, but you are using to unlike examples. And your formulaic attempt to twist what I wrote is completely asinine. I would never advocate any such thing. Deal with the facts. Black MIGHT have made an extra $10,000,000 off the whole thing. NET. The total amount his direct actions netted Hollinger was $2.8B. These are FACTS.
That you are so confused thinking Black did “exactly” as what the Liberals have done demonstrates a deep-seeded bias that no one can change.
IF you feel my work on the BC Rail file is suspect because you hate Connie Black and I don’t, then don’t come back.
[Translate]
Again; thanks, Alex, for your brave and tireless efforts. They are truly an inspiration.
I am so amazed by how thoroughly they have underestimated both you and the people’s collective interest in the truth. May they receive the fruits of that miscalculation in spades.
[Translate]
“The reason for moving them to this location was that MLA business was covered under “vote one””
What’s ‘vote one’?
[Translate]
Sorry I was in a rush.
It’s the house privilege, which covers govt documents.
But not THOSE documents. They told the court they didn’t exist. They LIED to Justice Elizabeth Bennett. Those documents were sitting in 088-A the whole time.
I have someone about to swear an affidavit.
Morton is dead meat if he makes one more move except resigning.
[Translate]
Bloody awesome, Alex! This sordid thing is playing out exactly as most of us predicted and the amazing thing is that these people learn nothing from history and are doomed to repeat it and suffer the same fate.
What time should we come back for the next installment?
[Translate]
Around dinner…
[Translate]
Magic. Heading out for some Goose & olives. Can’t wait.
[Translate]
Shake doubles tonight.
[Translate]
Perhaps somebody could search Room 088-A for the principles and ethics which this goverment misplaced a decade or so ago. Maybe they’ll find the mainstream media’s cojones in there too…
Great work, AGT! Thanks again!
[Translate]
That salvo went right over the bows of these clowns. Waiting for the 2nd salvo Alex.
[Translate]
Saying it went over their bows tells me a few things about you.
1.) you work for the BC Liberals.
2.) This topic came up for discussion
3.) They had a spin ready, its not a good one.
Let me tell you something about how this works. You don’t know how this “salvo went” until you know how the MLAs think. Seeing as they haven’t had a meeting since this came out, you don’t know.
If, big if, even a few of the MLAs have integrity, they will ask a question or two at a caucus meeting. If this story is bullshit, Morton wins and is stronger for it.
If MLAs want to get to to the bottom of it and it is true, Morton is toast.
If this turns out to be true and the MLAs did nothing at all, then the MLAs are toast.
[Translate]
oh how I love you all riled up with the gloves firmly secured. Well done, Alex! You give me hope for this province.
[Translate]
Just gotta say you got some connections there, Alex … hate to be on the wrong side of you!! Go for the jugular .. NO PRISONERS!!!
And in case nobody has ever said this to you .. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!
[Translate]
Why did the RCMP screw up the investigation? Was there politcal interference. Any whistle blowers in the RCMP who’d care to expose the leis?
[Translate]
One or two…still stewing.
[Translate]
I can understand what an awful decision that would be, particularly for members of the RCMP but tell them that cops all over this province would be lined up to shake their hands for having the courage to stay true to their oath and do the right thing. If this happened then it needs to be put right. The RCMP would be better for it by regaining its vital independence because no politician would dare do anything like this again.
[Translate]
Complete agreement.
[Translate]
Fantastic article Alex…Probably Morton and Dummy are now arranging boat tickets to China (a slow Boat)…
Do you know whether Morton is one of those $1 dollar a year man,or is he being paid the same salary(or more) that the other press sec,s were getting…If he is receiving salary, the overhead of her staff payroll will now be starting to reach stratosphere proportions…Bev Oda who is now resigning had nothing on this woman….just another pig at the trough..all on our dime…http://taxpayer.com/blog/06-03-2012/bc-what-do-premiers-staffers-really-make
I have TOTAL utter contempt for her!
[Translate]
He’s receiving a whopper of a salary.
[Translate]
Rumour is………….. Bev Oda is still snuffling at the trough…….she’s gonna be in the Senate.
Plus she will draw a $55,000.00 per year govt pension as per her retirement contract.as a sitting cabinet member for more than 8 years.
I’m beginnig to hate ALL politicians everywhere
[Translate]
Of all my readers, you’d be on of the last I’d want to censor, but do you mind NOT littering provincial posts with federal matters (in this case about an idiot)???
Thank you. If anyone does that again, I will simply delete.
[Translate]
no worries brudda , Now back to the topic at hand………
[Translate]
[Translate]
If I were those dispicable people, I would be shivering in my boots and not sleeping at all at night! Right on Alex, you have my total support in your endeavors to unravel this BCRail scandal and show all of the BC public how dishonest this group of self-serving thugs really is! I think a bunch of them should do jail time for what they have done to our province and the people who live in it.
[Translate]
Bravo!!! I can hardly wait for the encore.
[Translate]
Unbelievable!
Now I think we can guess the reason, for the mysterious 1/2 hour call by Snooki to Gordo in London, of a week or so ago. The “heat” is definitely getting to the “unbearable” point, when you start having to “get help pronto”, from the former “head honcho”, who put this whole mess together, in the first place.
Take them down Alex…all of them. We are behind you 150%!
Seems like “orange jump suits” might be the “in” fashion statement, for the soon to be “former BC Liberal Caucus and cabinet, members” in this province. Perhaps for a few years or longer, for some of them, We can only hope. I can’t wait for a full blown, judicial enquiry!
Great job Alex, keep that fire hot!
[Translate]
Absolutely brilliant investigative work Alex…
Now that the existence of room 088-A is known can the government be ordered to produce the documents?
[Translate]
I wonder if they know that e-mails have been known to appear from the ashes many years later?
[Translate]
And the hits just keep on coming, this is unfathonable, its an endles train wreck (no pun intended). Its an absolute obstruction of justice. Knowingly hiding evidence is a criminal act.
Tear the bitch a new one, wipe that shit eating grin of her lying face. There is nothing I despise more than seeing her on TV bullshitting to us with some lame cover up story starting her sentence with that favorite full of crap saying she throws our “well, its like this, you know”
This just cant continue! Can it?
[Translate]
Can you email your writngs to the queens cowboys so maybe they will start to do thier job?
[Translate]
RCMP servers have been all over this blog for over two years. They’ve seen everything I’ve written.
It’s not me that needs to explain myself. They need to atone and follow up on what they missed! If Mike Morton committed an obstruction of justice in 2010, they can still investigate. Let’s start there.
[Translate]
I truly enjoy your escalation of this Alex.
These fools! These arrogant Fools!
Think they are untouchable.
Get them…….. ALL of them……
[Translate]
Arrogance has been the downfall of many a person over the years…..
[Translate]
Great work Alex. I have this picture in my mind of Snookie and Mikie M. hiding under the Preem’s desk calling “INCOMING!!!”
[Translate]
She probably stands up when there is a distinct “Thunk” and a whistling sound. Asking Sara “What is that funny whistling sound?”
[Translate]
Rather like the Mayor of Hiroshima.
[Translate]
“RCMP servers have been all over this blog for over two years. They’ve seen everything I’ve written.
It’s not me that needs to explain myself. They need to atone and follow up on what they missed! If Mike Morton committed an obstruction of justice in 2010, they can still investigate. Let’s start there.”
So WHAT besides a hot poker up their collective is going to GET them to start to ‘investigate’??
What about a petition to the head honcho whazisname who wants to be the new broom and has the power to fire bad apples?
This needs to get off the ground… the Libs will keep ignoring this and you KNOW how the MSM deals with these kinds of issues!!
I am FED up!!
[Translate]
Can we anticipate a spin doctor’s response that there was a miscommunication along these lines?
Q: Store them in which Room?
A. Oh…..wait…wait…eh?
[Translate]
Good Stuff!
I be thinking she has something like Münchhausen Syndrome only she just lives to lose!
[Translate]
The cover-up continues and the personal attacks become more pointed and vicious. These are the signs of a sick government. Christy, if you are reading this and I am sure your loyal subjects are I want you to take note. Things are going to get a lot worse for you and your loyal subject Kim Haakstad. You are not only headed for a defeat of historic proportions in the next provincial election, you are also going to be exposed when the NDP calls a public inquiry. How many more memo’s does Alex still have in his back pocket? All the Queens horses and Queens men cannot put this jeannie back in the bottle! That ticking sound you hear dear Christy is the countdown to your defeat and to being exposed as a liar!!
Alex its imperative you continue to expose these liars and crooks. Please don’t give up, our democracy is stake. I heard on the news this afternoon that Paul Taylor is back with ICBC. You may recall the now infamous email Jamie Elmhirst sent to his partners Kieran and Bornmann where he talked about the “blabby deputy minister” referring specifically to Paul Taylor. This email spoke about the Pilothouse boys being coached and getting sensitive information from one of the most senior deputies in government. How ironic the Liberals have hired yet another senior government staffer connected to Bornmann, Kieran and Elmhirst!!
[Translate]
I know. Like I said this morning. As soon as the Basi-Virk issue raises it’s ugly head, the players started coming out of the woodwork.
[Translate]
They are all coming home for “THE LAST SUPPER”……someone should commission a painting!!
[Translate]
I was always pretty good at oil on canvas. It’s when it got to charcoal that I always felt conflicted…
[Translate]
Well, so far you have painted a pretty heinous picture in black and white.:)
[Translate]
Are they eligible for their pension while they’re in the slammer? Or is it put in an interest bearing account until they get out?
In any case they should be responsible for their own room & board while incarcerated!
[Translate]
Please keep up the battle, it may be a hard one but in the end it will be worth it. Especially if some of those involved get jail time.
[Translate]
does any one remember all the presidents men?
their bs did not save nixon during watergate,
christy clark needs to look at history and learn from it,
[Translate]
Never mind….. after her demise from BC Politics, dummy has been invited by President Amadinnerjacket in the Middle East to advise on “Truth in Politics”.
[Translate]
Looking at history means that one must have an ability to understand perspective. Look at who we are talking about….
[Translate]
[Translate]
Alex, I haven’t commented in a while but I have to commend you on your work. It is superb. I believe that Christy is only there to keep BC Rail out of the spotlight. That is the only reason that she won, to keep it under wraps. With all your work, it is really unravelling for them. The only way that they can keep control is for Christy or someone else that is on the inside to lead the party and stay in power. With the NDP looking like they will take control, Christy’s bunch must be sweating bullets. How can they wrest victory from the NDP? That is their only salvation. When they lose, everything comes out. How do you think they figure they will do it (gain control again)?
[Translate]
Gordo the Sober probably didn’t realise that bringing back and placing on the top perch a dimwitted ghost from the past would throw the all bunch of all-too-merry kleptocrats collectively under the bus.
[Translate]
He’s probably laughing his arse off during high tea in Trafalgar…. little does he know he’ll more than likely he’ll get thrown in front of that bus….
[Translate]
*********
A CHALLENGE TO THE PREMIER:
If, as you and your minions say, you had nothing to do with BC Rail and the Government is completely innocent, instruct the minions that need instructing to relieve both Basi and Virk from their gag order.
After all, dear Preem, a gag order only exists to prevent exposing things that you want to keep hidden. You told us you have the most open government. Now prove it.
(oh, and that includes file 088-A).
[Translate]
The iron is hot!! Is it time for the final strike?!? Can not wait to find out.
God Bless you Sir Alex.
[Translate]
Thanks Alex for exposing these twits for what they are…twits. Using their position, power and even the Legislature as their own personal playground to screw over the common man.
[Translate]
Great work Alex. Lara Dauphinee, now there’s a name that hasn’t been around for awhile, since serving UNDER Gordon Campbell and getting her nice buyout when Snookie came onto the scene. I keep wondering why Snookie won’t just go – she seems very narcissistic, is it possible that she has threatened key caucus members that if they attempt to remove her from office, she will visit the LG’s office, disolve the government and drop the writ for an election – just to keep them at bay?
[Translate]
I’ve heard this but it would be suicide.
[Translate]
For a normal person it would be suicide – “Christy Chaos” is not normal – she’s so narcissistic that if she can’t steer the ship, she’ll run it into the rocks so no one else can.
[Translate]
She can’t steer the ship. She’s proven over and over it’s sinking, yet she seems to think Lifeboat #6 is reserved exclusively for her.
[Translate]
A new name comes to mind for these animals…..The Slug Slime Party.
If BC is not embarrassed by these slugs now, then we should be ashamed.
[Translate]
Demoralizing ongoing saga. Liberal’s must lay everything on the table, come clean regardless of consequences. Time for a fall election? Sadly, Dix and his cohort’s just have to sit back and watch the collapse.
[Translate]
Make no mistake about it. What absolutely has to happen is Bond, Coleman, de Jong and Falcon have to be brought into the light they deserve to be under. These are the building blocks that tether this mess to the reality of politics under this government. Clark is a ( most willing ) tool they use to obfuscate the simple truth. Gordon Campbell and those he conspired with still today firmly believe they can mitigate the acts they’ve perpetrated upon this province. Two men hold the key to this atrocity and they’ve been portrayed as the villains. When Dave Basi and Bobby Virk finally let loose, the legal ramifications will take years for the historians to figure out. Meanwhile, we’ll pay.
[Translate]
Alex I was reading a tuesday column but could not get to read the scrib notes? then all of a sudden poof the whole thing disappeared. Did some thing corrupt you computer? I was really getting into that new column. Hope every thing is OK. Cheers
[Translate]
No, just editing. It’ll be back up in a few minutes.
[Translate]
Christy, do you really think that if you and your friends are up to your armpits in the B.C. Rail fiasco, that you can get away Scot free? That will never happen, I know it is too late for you to do the honorable thing, which would be to step up to the plate and confess all. But……….. you must lie in your bed at night and wish you had never got involved with the likes of Gordon and his sidekicks. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could go back to when you were a little girl and you could curl up in the blankets and feel safe, warm, and wanted. That will never happen again in your lifetime, even if you get away with this for awhile you will always be looking over your shoulder and whenever you meet a new man or woman you will have to look them over and decide if they are friend or foe. You will mess up, you will get caught, you will pay for your sins.
[Translate]
Thank you
[Translate]
And a second thought. I think John Van Dongen should have a bench erected on the lawn of the parliament grounds in his name. He may very well provide what is necessary to make what you, Tielman, Norm and Harvey , Mackin and others have fought so hard for, a reality. You’ve got us this far, the rest of course is up to us. If you were to establish a fund whereas we could contribute to John Van Dongen’s legal costs, I’d be honored to contribute.
[Translate]
I can’t find the quote but I remember Russian coach Viktor Tikhonov saying after the Great One score the winning goal at the 1987 Canada Cup:
(close paraphrase) “When I saw Greztky and Lemieux go up the wing, I understood the game was over.”
I believe the same could be said here.
Great work, Alex!
[Translate]
Lemieux scored the goal, not Gretzky…but it’s a great metaphor nonetheless.
[Translate]
Alex – excellent piece of work!
Thank you!
I am ready to participate in assisting in whatever way I can to help these swines receive their due justice. I also enjoy reading the respectful observations from your readers. Furthermore, I would like to apologize in advance if some of my thoughts or ‘wonderings’ offend innocent people such as: Justice Bennett.
However, I was wondering:
- if Special Prosecutor Bill Berardino, replaced Justice Elizabeth Bennett with Justice Anne McKenzie in order that it was more favourable to the Government? {I am really embarrassed that this thought has crossed my mind but the whole deal with BC Rail stinks even moreso with Room 088-A.}
- is there any chance that Christy Clark will call a public inquiry with Wally Opal or John Furlong as the head and upon doing so, will plead: “no comment as it is before the inquiry” as our good friend Gordon Campbell did so often?
- if there is further legal action against Christy Clark would her legal fees be paid, even if she pulls a “Basi / Verk” and pleads guilty?
- if the Liberals will reflect back fondly to the good old days when only, 68% of the public thought that the Liberals were “the worst value from their provincial government? ( Ipsos Reid)
- with Paul Taylor returning to ICBC, how long will it be before David Hahn will be back with BC Ferries as a Director or Chairman?
- if maybe Stephen Harper will ask his good friend Christy to find a place in BC for Bev Oda? I am certain Christy Clark and her gang could teach Oda a few tricks about politics in the making. { I spent a few years in Japan and the Japanese would be so ashamed that such a person uses a Japanese name.}
- if our local MLA’s {member of the looney/liberal asylum) Linda Reid, Rob Howard and John Yap have the guts, integrity and are willing to stand up for the honest folks in Richmond and to the challenge you have so well suggested?
[Translate]
You’ve outdone yourself once again Alex and congratulations to you…
I was thinking about the tweets about your family and it occurred to me not even the Mafia involve family members when they get nasty with someone. Even they have more integrity than the despicable Liberals
Where else in North America could a government get away with this amount of corruption for so long? OK maybe Illinois, but even they eventually had enough. The MSM is nothing but complicit in all of this by not doing their job.
[Translate]
When I read the NW site that had Morton dismissing Basi memo, I knew then and there, the spin cycle had commenced. Read this puff piece by Ken MacQueen.
An absolute deflection of the chaos of her administration:
http://www2.macleans.ca/2012/07/02/on-the-risks-of-the-northern-gateway-pipeline-renaming-the-party-and-being-premier-mom/

It’s a complete joke.
[Translate]
Hi Alex,
I shall make my comment without reference to Oda.

- if Special Prosecutor Bill Berardino, replaced Justice Elizabeth Bennett with Justice Anne McKenzie in order that it was more favourable to the Government? {I am really embarrassed that this thought has crossed my mind but the whole deal with BC Rail stinks even moreso with Room 088-A.}
- is there any chance that Christy Clark will call a public inquiry with Wally Opal or John Furlong as the head and upon doing so, will plead: “no comment as it is before the inquiry” as our good friend Gordon Campbell did so often?
- if there is further legal action against Christy Clark would her legal fees be paid, even if she pulls a “Basi / Verk” and pleads guilty?
- if the Liberals will reflect back fondly to the good old days when only, 68% of the public thought that the Liberals were “the worst value from their provincial government? ( Ipsos Reid)
- with Paul Taylor returning to ICBC, how long will it be before David Hahn will be back with BC Ferries as a Director or Chairman?
- if our local MLA’s {member of the looney/liberal asylum) Linda Reid, Rob Howard and John Yap have the guts, integrity and are willing to stand up for the honest folks in Richmond and to the challenge you have so well suggested?

SPs don’t change judges.
Where would you get the idea Oppal or Furlong would be appropriate inquiry heads. Nonsense. And no, she won’t call for an inquiry.
There cannot be “further” legal action against Christy as there was none in the first place. I don’t know what would happen regarding fees.
Your question about Hahn is silly. I have only a finite amt of time to answer questions. No frivolity, please.
I don’t know about Yap, Reid or Howard. They’re your MLAs, not mine.

Is there any way for tax payers to get the money back which was used for CCS legal bills?
