Bill Good the Comedian!

44

Okay, four posts coming today! This one, one as a follow-up on the VPD’s ‘Porngate’. another on the BC Conservatives (and unbelievably, it’s good news for them!) and finally a barn burner on the man vetting candidates for the Christy party…you WILL be floored!

Let’s start…

Bill Good actually said the following this morning in response to a caller–on air (the caller was rightly complaining about the HST taking so ridiculously long to remove):

Caller: “I think they (the provincial govt) are keeping it on so they can remove it at the last minute (April of 2013) before an election and look like saviours…”

Now, please be seated, no sipping hot or cold beverages, clear your throats and make sure if you’re lying down, please, please, please turn sideways to avoid choking…

BIll Good: “Well, I’m not someone who’s a defender of this government, but I can’t imagine why they would carry the HST other than the fact it takes that long to get rid of it…”

HE’S  NOT A DEFENDER OF THE CHRISTY PARTY!!!!!!!

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!! His goddamned show is a running ad for the BC Liberal Party!!!

BILL CAN’T FIGURE OUT WHY HIS CLOSE, PERSONAL FRIEND CHRISTY WOULD HANG ON TO THE HST UNTIL APRIL OF 2013!!!!!!!

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course Bill can’t figure out why the provincial government continues to thoroughly screw British Columbians by lying about why they’re keeping the HST! That requires the brain of at least a 10 year-old!

I can’t take it–almost lost a tray of two perfectly cooked soft-boiled eggs, dry toast and Orange Pekoe tea as I fell over laughing!!!

I swear, that Bill’s a comedian….such great radio.

There’s just never been a better radio host in the history of the planet….what a flipping embarrassment…

Our MSM is in very bad shape. Can it be saved

  2. John's Aghast says:

Good Gawd! What in the world were you doing listening to the Bill Good show? And before you’d had breakfast yet. I guess its something best listened to on an empty stomach?

  3. Clive says:

Who is Bill’s next guest?; Phi Hochstein who doesn’t support the BC Liberals either? Or Ian Tostenson? Bill’s show is a bad joke.

  4. BruceW says:

The sad part of it is that Bill probably believes what he’s spouting.

    • AGT says:

I know. It’s just stunning. He was so sincere too! I was just floored how someone can lie like that. A total embarrassment for Bill to suggest he isn’t anything but a supporters, a strong supporter of Christy’s and the BC Liberal Party. Any suggestion to the contrary is bollocks!

  5. George says:

Bill Good was on a roll this morning…@ 10:25 a caller asked why isn’t it a bit hypocritical of Ujjal Dosanjh to support the legalization of marijuana when BC led a charge against 3 major cigarette companies, under Ujjal Dosanjh’s watch…

Bill ranted on about kids getting criminal records for pot, etc all the talking pro pot points….but refused to agree with the caller that due to the fact they are burning sticks inhaled effect the lungs equally….how is one burning inhaled substance better than another??

    Absolutely hypocritical..

    Well thought out response Bill…

    • AGT says:

No surprise. There will be a massive push back soon, by pros and others in the medical community, who know how bad pot is and why it should never be legalized.

      • LC says:

How, unless the whole USA legalizes pot, can the change of law here ever decrease gang activity? I can imagine every ALR acre of land planted with a full harvest of the most lucrative (illegal) substance across the border. This would be worse than anything done during the prohibition years. The case for legalizing pot to decrease crime is just plain STUPID.

        • AGT says:

Yes, absolutely correct. The logistics alone are unfathomable.

No one wants a one joint kid thrown in jail. I don’t agree with that either, but legalization is being clawed back in Holland and Portugal because of the INCREASE in crime and drug tourism. Just imagine what we’d be subject to. Horrific!

  6. Not Mixed Up says:

We can blame CTV for splitting and tossing Bill and Pammy. Idle hands do The Unqualified One’s deeds.

  7. garret seinen says:

Alex, I don’t know why you knock Bill Good – he does a fine job of reading the 8:00am news.

  8. lola says:

The other day after his interview with Christy, Bill said the callers that wanted to ask her questions were not screened.

    • AGT says:

I know, we addressed this in an earlier post. He’s a mad man. I know of dozens of callers who were screened and, in face, dropped as soon as they mentioned BC Rail.

  9. Gary says:

    Priceless Alex, priceless.

  10. harry lawson says:

he even screws up doing stand up or in his case sit down .

he looks i n the mirror and truly beleives that he is impartial

    so truly sad

  11. Shell says:

Bill Good has no integrity, but CKNW is even worse – otherwise they would not allow this “Faux News” travasty to continue.

I wonder if honest demographics of “The Brain-Fart Bill Show” are available, and if so, would they reveal that the advertisers are getting screwed? How many stupid naive people are there left in Vancouver that actually listen to “Flatulant Ripple Bill”?

Is there is a class-action lawsuit in the making here – CKNW, through “Whitebread Bill” illigally contributing hundreds of thousands of dollars of free advertising to “Crusty & The Lieberals”? Where the hell is that paper tiger, the CTRC on this?

  12. Shell says:

Faux News – Fox News… Ha Ha Ha!

I’d be interested to hear yout thoughts on my other comments re: Bill the fraud, CKNW the facilitators, real demographics, class-action lawsuit & the CRTC.

Someone needs to hold these fraud artists’ feet to the fire – even if such a lawsuit is deemed frivolous, atleast Bullshit Bill & CKNW might get some negative attention they deserve.

    ;-)

  13. Sean in Vancouver says:

He’s always claimed that he neither supports nor opposes the Christy Clark government.

He was never friends with her while she was at the station, and barely said two words to her while they were coworkers.

It’s just a big coincidence that so many of his colleagues at CTV News and CKNW got to work at Christy’s Premier’s Office.

He absolutely abhors anyone criticising media figures, such as his Friday Legislative panel or his successor at CTV News, Ms. T.

    • AGT says:

      Funny…

He is a huge supporter of the BC Liberals. In the last election, he admitted he’d never voted NDP in his life and wouldn’t–which is fine, but to shill for one party is absurd. Particularly since according to CRTC rules, he’s supposed to offer some balance. Not softness, but balance.

Bill and Christy were infact friends, good friends. He admitted that one air during the leadership. It’s in their archives.

They constantly talked and his producer Rebecca Scott had a very close relationship with Christy–as evidenced by the fact Ms. Scott is now her deputy press secretary.

  14. RS says:

And I thought Bill Good calling someone else a dinosaur on-air (or maybe it was one of his The Bill Good Show ads) was the funniest thing I’d ever heard him utter. He just keeps getting funnier ‘n’ funnier…

  15. Shell says:

Thanks Len, for the CKNW stats.

Maybe we should encourage CKNW to just let “Wonderbread Bill” keep driving – right over the statistical cliff, and he can take CKNW with him – both victims of self-induced unintended consequences! Can you see the smile to my face?

By the way, within the PDF’s you provided, there are some terms defined – one of which is “Cume” – Sounds like lethal radiation poisoning – no wonder I always feel like shit when exposed to even a couple of seconds of the “Wonderbread Bill” empty calorie diet! Ah yes, the “Wonderbread Bill” diet – Not as nutritious as toilet paper… but more absorbent!

“Cume (000) – Expressed in thousands, this is the total number of people who were exposed to the stations for at least one minute during the analyzed period.”

    • AGT says:

Just this morning, as he’s trying to go on another tear against the federal Conservatives, Vanilla Bill said, and I quote:

      “They’re just ‘villianizing’ everbody…”

      AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is that like one hour martinizing, without the starched collars?

      AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!

I can’t take it. Bill Good the Comedian!

  16. British Columbia needs media that is not owned by interests in Toronto and Calgary. In this country the bigger advertisers (national) only support those media interests that conform to Ottawa-Toronto-Calgary interests.

The trend toward the New Democrats in BC provincially – and the diminishing of Harper over Enbridge and other awkward decisions in majority – which will follow – will set the stage for BC to become a little more nationalistic. The media will have a difficult time making the switch to the New Democrats – because of the partisan reporting for the BC Liberals for so long, and because of the growth of social media which makes the media the butt of jokes.

  17. Shell says:

    Yup, as in –

One Hour Pamela Martinizing… Starched “Koochie” Collars – $175,000 per year extra!

  18. Bob W says:

This is how it is done to dupe the people of BC:
BC Hydro – “We need a nine percent increase in our fees Premier Clark.”
Premier Clark – “Okay, no problem, just ask us publicly for a 50% increase and well cut you down to the 9%. Win win for both of us.”
BC Liberal henchmen – “Isn’t she wonderful.”
BC People – “But we’re not THAT stupid, are we?”
