EXCLUSIVE BREAKING NEWS: Christy Clark Lied to the People of British Columbia–Leaks from Cabinet; Close Relationships with Lobbyists; Dinners at Her Home…

253

Here is Christy Clark in her own words from a recent statement to the press in Kamloops.

“I discharged my duties as Deputy Premier with integrity. My time in government was ethically spotless…the people involved in the sale of BC Rail are not even remotely related to me.”

It’s sad sometimes how when politicians, like Clark, that claim to be “outsiders” are found to be the consummate INSIDERS.

The outright lying doesn’t help either.

Behold the barrel base of the smoking gun…

The above is an email exchange between former Pilothouse partner (and current Christy Clark campaign cheerleader) Brian Kieran and an executive of OmniTRAX.

Notice in Kieran’s email of how important Christy Clark’s approval of OmniTRAX’s bid remained. She was only one of three Cabinet Ministers to be named. Why? If the sale was happening all around her and she was removed from it, why was she such a central figure for Erik Bornmann and Brian Kieran?

She should have been one of the LAST three MLAs or Cabinet Ministers named if her statements in Kamloops are true.

But it’s clear that she was very important to OmniTRAX lobbyists who she told Global’s Marisa Thomas, she bumped into only “at the Helijet…”

Really?

And for the smoking gun in its entirety…

Below is an absolutely STUNNING email exchange between Brian Kieran and his partner Erik Bonrmann. Kieran asks Bornmann for “intel” DIRECTLY from Christy Clark and names her. Bornmann plays down the heat of the information received, but then PROVIDES INSIDE THE CABINET ROOM INFORMATION from Clark, which was all coming from the caucus retreat.

I note for the record that neither Dave Basi or Bob Virk ever attended a single Cabinet meeting or were permitted to attend ANY caucus retreat.

And notice Bornmann’s reply is on the same day as Kieran’s request. And, of course, Christy Clark was in attendance at the retreat.

Still not convinced?

Okay, now that you’ve seen the smoking gun, how ’bout the bullets and the slug?

Behold, once again…

This is from Erik Bonrmann’s diary, in his own handwriting, from June 8th, 2002, a full year before the BC Rail deal is anywhere near completion.

Who’s giving Bornmann “direction” on where the sale of BC Rail is going? Christy Clark. Of note, is that the same day Bornmann is being narrated the direction of BCR by Clark, that night he goes to dinner at HER home, thus the reference, “Dinner at Mark and Christy’s…”

I guess you don’t need to bump into these pesky lobbyists at the Helijet Christy when they get Cabinet intelligence directly from you and then ATTEND DINNER AT YOUR HOME…

Not enough?

And again….

I suppose at this point Clark owes Marisa Thomas and Global a major apology. In fact, she owes the entire province an apology for lying so brazenly. You don’t need to bump into lobbyists at the Helijet if after you’ve leaked Cabinet level information to them, met with them, had them over for dinner and host them at Government Offices at the World Trade Center in Vancouver, do you?

Christy Clark has lied through her teeth about her friendship with Erik Bornmann and her paticipation in the disposal of BC Rail. She leaked Cabinet level information to Bornmann and through him to Kieran. Kieran even asked for it. Why didn’t he ask for the same from Collins or Reid?

No wonder Kieran’s blog is one-stop shopping in drivel peddling where Clark’s great fitness to lead the province is concerned. In part, Clark’s information to Kieran and Bonrmann kept them in the game. She was forced by previous information I published to admit to meeting with Pat Broe, owner of OmniTRAX. What did they discuss?

Clark knows now, as she did then, that she was far from being spotless in the execution of her duties and these documents prove it once and for all.

Her political career benefitted from being so closely connected to Kieran and Bornmann.

No?

Okay….here is a Pilothouse billing/expense sheet from June of 2003.

Christy Clark is clearly unfit to serve in any public office or in any capacity where the public are concerned. The integrity of the BC Liberal leadership race is in significant jeopardy as long as someone who while Deputy Premier leaked Cabinet level information to lobbyists is running for Premier; as long as someone like Clark is in the running at all.

She should resign immediately and call for a full public inquiry where she can sit before a judge and explain herself.

More tomorrow…

Sooooooo, whats the deal with Global TV calling in that Political Reporter Heavyweight ” Squire Barnes’ to put the Liberal contenders on the Hotseat this past week( Christy on Thursday!!!!!! stay Tuned)?
    Are you KIDDING ME ?
A sportscaster best known for ” Satellite debris” is chatting with the candidates? WOW !
Tie me down the suspence is killing me

  2. Larry Bennett, Burnaby says:

So the pols have gone deep into caucus,
    And the voters have reason to dread;
For the Bolsheviks tend to get raucous,
When liberty hangs by a thread!

They talk about more carbon taxes,
    And ways of expunging the debt;
    While the unionized worker relaxes,
Knowing all his demands will be met.

    Especially the servants called “civil”,
    With gold-plated pensions, no doubt;
Who are most like to whine and to snivel,
And most wont to cavil and pout.

But the Liberals are fools and scapegraces,
    With fingers in everyone’s pie;
But they’re caught with the jam on their faces,
And as Alex has proven – they lie!

  3. Merv says:

Honestly folks, the whole truth about this affair can only come through a Public Inquiry..since the trial was preempted.

Forgive me AGT, but as one-sided as the Globe’s piece was, (and infuriating), the evidence against Clark here is damning but not comprehensive. There is more out there, worse, involving others, I’m sure.

The only way to get the MSM to pay attention is to send them a WALL of emails supporting an inquiry, and demanding journalism get its act together.

I’ve done my but sparring with Palmer and co….over to you all. Get on the phone, the blackberry, the subscription cancellation line..

    Go

    • AGT says:

I agree. There is much more stuff out there on Clark. And you’ll read all about it here. And I am starting to turn on the MSM very quickly. The fawning about her over the last week and the relatively unbalanced coverage by Bill Good, and MOST disappointingly Vaughn Palmer (his latest column is an absolute embarrassment) is further proof that the media is uninterested in the public’s right to know. It’s shameful.

I agree. Bombard the Sun and Globe with cancellations and email the producers at CTV about what they have done. They are simply unpaid advertisers for the Clark campaign. It’s shameful stuff.

We have a poet in our midst …and a damn good one too

  5. Hoof-Hearted says:

    Oh No…EXORCIST Alert…!!!!!!

Just heard a Global TV ad…..

Christy Clark will be interviewed by …drum roll……Squire Barnes tomorrow (Thursday) !!!!

Her ” quote” was something about wearing whatever shoes she pleases….(Cue Helen Reddy tune ” I am woe-man hear me roar” ???)

    Aaaaagghhh

    Ruby slippers ……or Jackboots..

    Helllpppp!!!!

    Who’s next Squire….Moammar and Hosnii ???

  6. Gary A'Hearn says:

Alex it must be hectic at your house at movie time. Gathering up the scattered bits of scrap paper with a name or date highlighted and underlined in crayon cause that damn pen was just too far away. Trying to decide which coaster to look under and which to place the drink. Meetings with RCMP and others, and here must be the best part, jousting telephone calls the likes of which Hunter S Thompson would consider first rate mismash. You must be busier than a long tail cat in a roomfull of rocking chairs. And yet you treat your readers to a first class experience.

    • AGT says:

Funny…I almost never write at home. Although, this last post on Clark I did indeed produce at home. My back was out from pushing myself the previous day, so that was done in the den.

As for my (extensive collection of) coasters, they get less and less use nowadays. I’m 45 this year and for the first time in my life I actually feel my mortality. So I’m slowing down on the coaster traffic a tad. :-)

Hunter S. Thompson was one of my favorite writers. A classic!

  7. RS says:

Geezus! Or numb the pain ‘n’ hasten my fall into the deepest of depressions.

This headline from this mornings Vancouver Sun:

Internal poll puts Clark far ahead of other candidates: Christy Clark it the clear front-runner among BC Liberal Party members as they prepare to select a new leader this Saturday, an internal poll by the Clark campaign shows.

PLEASE say it ain’t so! It’s just another of the serial prevaricators bold faced lies — right?

Reality check — It’s the Vancouver Sun — right! It’s an internal “Clark” poll — right!

    Still pretty frightening though!

    • Merv says:

Well I wrote to the Sun this morning about the unbalanced coverage. They didn’t like it, but they wrote back.

      The chief editor.. pgraham@vancouversun.com

      Get on it folks.

      • AGT says:

The Vancouver Sun should be ashamed of themselves. They published a poll done by Clarks own campaign that shows she’s “leading” the pack with 43% of the BC liberal leadership race sown up.

THAT’S A MATHEMATICAL IMPOSSIBILITY. About a quarter are still undecided with about a third for each of Falcon, Abbott and Clark. It’s complete spin and I’ll show you tomorrow why she cannot win if she doesn’t win by the first ballot and remains well below the 4251 needed. It will be either Abbott (who will leapfrog her) or Falcon on the third. Then again, at this point, it’s all about getting people to their phones. The Clark people are well known to commit to campaign/electoral fraud. It’s how she operated when an MLA (ask Bobby Virk who worked for her) and it’s how she worked when she ran against Sam.

Additionally, she has no lift beyond low to mid 3000s. I can’t see it. Mind, with this kind of idiotic election process chosen by the BC Libs, anything can happen. But it boils down to this: If Falcon and Abbott get their people to the phones, and deJong’s Indos go half to Abbott and even in part to Falcon, with Falcon significantly Abbott’s twos, then she’s done.

        • gini says:

I, too, sent an e-mail to Patricia Graham and received an immediate reply. Strangely enough, she told me there would be some very interesting news forthcoming in the Sun in the next couple of days, regarding the disqualified memberships.

          Hmmm, the plot thickens!!

          • AGT says:

Meanwhile, her Jonathan Fowlie is permitted to write a column announcing an internal poll DONE BY CLARK’S OWN CAMPAIGN TEAM, that alleges she is commandingly ahead….when the real numbers are dramatically different.

Honestly…it cannot get much more pathetic than that.

          • Froth says:

we are being played like chumps:
” she told me there would be some very interesting news forthcoming in the Sun in the next couple of days,”

YES on Monday Morning after the fact. Just more BS…

        • nonconfidencevote says:

And now comes the latest news that the electronic polling is going to be a contoversial screw up, with THOUSANDS of people unable to vote because they didnt recieve their”pin” numbers yet.

  8. Len says:

Ooops ,I didn’t realise you had to have an english degree to post here ,sorry

  9. Hoof-Hearted says:

I agree……..Clark’s balloon sails on the first lift…..

Personally, I don;t know why she even ahs a chance, maybe its that John Turner thingee….out of the cesspool long enough that the ” eau de Campbell ” has somewhat faded.

Given the BC Rail stink, it appears she has the ill-advised/blinkered vote…That’s a house of cards that can collapse at any moment.

I see majority her supporters running to Mr Slick…aka Falcon.

Shame on ” Valley boy” DeJong catering to an ethnic group….even the ethnic group should be ashamed, simply being used. .

  10. Pao says:

Wow, you are just a stain, and fucking bonkers to boot. Did you ever learn basic reasoning skills? Ever take a logic class? Your blog reads like the self-entitled rantings of a malicious royal half-wit. I’m guessing that your parents either flattered you too much as a child or knew that you were an idiot and still gave you too much allowance. You do not deserve the mouth you’ve been given.

    • AGT says:

      1) Yes.
      2) I actually taught one.
      3) Thank you
      4) Bad guess
      5) Even worse guess
      6) Then come and take it away from me if you can….
      7) I didn’t realize it was sorry asshole day today….here’s to you.

      • Stew says:

        Geez Pao!
I think you’ve spent waaayy to much time holding up a picture of Christy with one hand! You should get out more! Try real women! I mean..heck I have no problem with imagination..but my God man… Christy Clarke??!!??

      • Ron Sward says:

Good one Alex, obviously someone with their head buried up you know whos rectum. Oh well it takes all kinds.

        • AGT says:

Sadly, yes. But I’m getting about a half dozen of those PER DAY since I did the post revealing Christy’s lies.

It amazes me how incredibly CLASSLESS so many of her supporters are. Wait a minute, did I mention surprised?

          Not a chance.

          • Joe says:

            Shame on you Poa,
Too bad you don,t put a picture to your name; oh forget it, I just looked in the dictionary under Asshole and sure enough there is a picture of you.
Really, everyone knows who Alex is because he identifies himself on his blog, but not you. You are just a gutless slob that gets to stay anonymous. It’s uniformed fools like you that simply follow that has put this province in the sorry state it is. If you opened your eyes and mind to the corruption of Gordy and his gang, I’m sure that you would not be carrying on the way you are or maybe you are simply ignorant and don’t have the ability to reason and think for yourself. Do some home-work before you make an ass of yourself!

  12. Bruce says:

Alex, this whole issue is driving me crazy, wife said it would be a short drive, but all kidding aside how the hell do we get the MSM to start reporting this figging mess. I’ve email most of the media and Attached you columns ( hope you don’t mind) I’m so frustrated that people out there that don’t get it. And if Christy wins she get a get out of Jail free, and license to do it all over again. Shhhiiiittt! Hope you have more on that pack of pigs. Cheers

  13. Greg says:

I had a desire when I was younger to get into politics……Reality completely turned me off, as why would I want to be associated with people such as Christy and Gordon.

I’ve realised that, due to the system thats been created, if you want to be successful in politics, you have to collude against the best interest of the majority. In order to get the money to run a campaign, you have to get in bed with a funder…..who will only fund you if you repay their efforts once in office.

In an ideal world it would be nice to see a system where business is prohibited from campaign contributions/political fundings. That funds can only be raised via private citizens in a transparent manner and with cap limits. This way the interests of the citizens are what funds our political candidate. We have social media that is dirt cheap, candidates should not need multi million campaign war chests to reach the people.

Nice to see people like AGT, determined to bring some semblance of respect and accountability back into the system. Perhaps that old flame of inspiration is being rekindled……

Sick of politicians playing politics, I want some public servants willing to govern. Why pay public wages to attract the best and the brightest when they are attracted to the money/benefits and not public service? Seems like thats a recipee of attracking self interested people into positions where they are capable of ripping off the public purse for their personal benefits…and are the people most capable to do so! I’d much rather a person who is merely competent yet truely wishes to serve the public.

  14. Donald says:

I cannot for the life of me understand why the mainstream media in this province cannot get off of their duffs and do any investigative reporting. I have talked to a couple of “news rooms” with regard to the BC Rail fiasco and got nothing. I mentioned the “Basi Files” and one said, “Dave Basi was not a note taker!” I even gave them the name of the QC in Nanaimo to contact and check the voracity of the “papers”. The other gave me your name and mentioned your blog, but I was already there. Too much work, or they don’t want to work or think that hard…who knows. If nothing else, is nobody upset that 6 Million dollars of taxpayer’s money was used to pay the legal fees of Dave Basi, and Bobby Virk?
I am sad to say that if Christy Clark manages to win the BC Liberal Party leadership, I will be forced to investigate the BC Conservative Party. I know I am not alone on this. It is bad enough that I had to hold my nose and vote for Kevin up here in Kamloops, to keep the BC Liberals in power. I will not do that again to elect her! Unfortunately, we could easily end up with another NDP government over this. YEA GADS MAN!!!

    • gini says:

Donald, I can’t believe what I just read…….”I had to hold my nose and vote for Kevin up here in Kamloops, to keep the BC Liberals in power.”

Finally, someone who admits to assisting the Campbell government in continuing to run our province into the ground. Up until I read your post, I had never met anyone who would admit to this.

And now you tell me that the only reason you would not vote for this corrupt party again is if Christy Clark becomes their leader. Tell me this, Donald, which of the other three losers would you choose to sell the rest of B.C. off to foreign interests? Aren’t you tired of being lied to yet?

Man, I hope there aren’t too many more of you out there!

  15. George says:

So it is official Christy stated moments ago that she will go back to CKNW if this doesn’t work out…

She shares custody, so the “I don’t know how I’ll put food on the table doesn’t really ring true”…she only needs to do it part time…

Lots of Mom’s out there manage on minimum wage jobs Christy thanks to Gordon C’s liberals cuts… oh right she was around when those cuts were made…

  16. Hoof-Hearted says:

    Pao…….

Don’t get me wrong…trolls are funny.

However, in about a week I am about to cancel my MSM newspaper subscriptions.

I get the Province…and the Sun is now giving me 6 Months free.

    I’ve read then since the 1960′s…….I’ve had enough..too late….

Read THEM and quit trolling the blogosphere for a pissing match you retard.

  17. BobZirunkel says:

    Alex,
    Long-time lurker, first-time commenter.
I spoke today with some fellow card-carrying Liberals here in our rural riding.
None of us has received our voting PIN, which party organizers said would arrive by mail today.
I wondered to myself whether this might be part of an anti-Abbott conspiracy, but don’t know enough about inner party workings to have voiced the thought.
Then, this evening, I read this:
    http://communities.canada.com/vancouversun/blogs/viewfromtheledge/archive/2011/02/25/major-screw-up-in-liberal-leadership.aspx

    • AGT says:

Hang in there my friend. Help is on the way. I will put the boots to them by morning.

      • Robbie says:

Thank you, Alex. I appreciate that you “will put the boots to them by morning”: They are certainly a bunch of PIN Heads that run the BC Liberal party. How, pray tell, can they try to spin the PIN fiasco that taints the very selection process of BC’s next Premier?

        • AGT says:

They can’t. And I’ll show you why.

You’re most welcome. Thank you for your kind comments, both and the blog and your encouraging notes to me through the ‘Contacts’ page.

          Blessings.

          • nonconfidencevote says:

Classic, One of the comments on the Vaugn Palmer story said.
“…Let me get this straight, The BC Liberals screwed up their own voting process by outsourcing to a private contractor….”
Its that EXACTLY what they’ve been doing to the province the last few years?
….and in the Van Sun today David Podmore of Pavco, Concert Properties, et al was quoted as saying ,” If we arent allowed to build the hotel/casino then we want no part of the management of BC Place.
Hmmmmm, a White Elephant needs a Pig with Lipstick to help pay for itself.
Gotta luv it, Pavco,” Give us what we want or you will inherit a massively indebted building on False Creek. ”
What in God’s Name will that “never before built roof” cost to maintain each year? 10 million, 20?
Bet you that building is knocked down within 15 years

            Hmmmmmm

  18. Hoof-Hearted says:

    George:

Pass the $$$$ hat for Christy ahahahaha..

If not mistaken she’s a (2 ) term MLA and thus eligible for an MLA pension, albeit it won’t kick in till sh’e post 50 years old.

After the civil service, a media gig on NW is a job for life…(maybe Alex has a scoop on the pay scale….easily 6 figures…..)

She made a choice to gamble her media career( YO equality !!!!!!), I don’t want some BS sympathy vote for someone who wants it both ways and cries .

Gordon Wilson had it right…she rides to work on a broom.
    .

  19. Larry Bennett, Burnaby says:

I suspect that, like a few others here, I lack the mental acuity, or at least, discipline, to follow the serpentine manoeuvrings of these people who are sworn to do our bidding (tempered by their experience), or to follow the twisted tortuosities of their logic (or their deceptions). Or, for that matter, how to go about exposing them.
Others, (most) at this blog, and certainly Alex Tsakumis, have a mind like a steel-trap, who should be working as a forensic detective, a watch dog as it were, for the public.
That said, we have to wonder why anyone would want the job considering what is needed. Is there anyone willing to make the cuts necessary in the next few years, especially in their dealings with public employees in the fields of medicine, education and social services. I’m talking about roll-backs – huge roll-backs, which of course precludes the NDP. In fact, Global T.V. has had some excellent articles on the B.C. Crowns (tonight) and earlier, the wages of those involved in the GVRD.

  20. Hoof-Hearted says:

    Greg.

    110% correct re Politics.
It’s a soul -selling incremental sell-out of oneself and one’s constituents.

Maybe its real life version of Dante’s Inferno or Dorian Grey.

After one enters the system with good intentions, it slowly absorbs you so that in the end one must reflect back and ask ” What the hell did I get into ? “.

I’ve been asked by parties I respect to run for office……and upon reflection my answer = “I can’t be bought”, thus this renders me INeligible for Public Office …Thank God !!!!

    =====================================

    Donald:

MSM is best described…as Rafe Mair used to say….. as swigging the same bathwater as the politicians.

Other than the odd expose’ ……….there is a line the MSM will not cross…..I have the e-mail evidence that shows inquiries and tips that went NO -where.

Screw em by boycotting them….more parties that gravitate to the blogosphere the better. The MSM had a public trust that has long ago been deemed INvalid.

  21. Froth says:

“Unfortunately, we could easily end up with another NDP government over this. YEA GADS MAN!!!”

Don’t be fooled by the propaganda machine. THERE IS NOTHING wrong in putting the NDP back in power. BC never went in the sewer because of an NDP government. YOU have to PUNISH the crooks. Plain and simple. Don’t be fooled by PROPAGANDA. Think like a QUEBECOIS ..make your VOTE count as PUNISHMENT!

    Think Man think…

  22. Horny Toad says:

Ha1 My friend and his wife both received pins #s to vote and they haven’t even been members for 7 or 8 years.

    • AGT says:

      No surprise whatsoever.

As I said on ‘The Sean Leslie Show’ two months ago, this was the worst possible system for the BC Liberals to employ and that if anyone was going to take advantage of it, it would be Christy Clark’s campaign.

It’s the way they roll. Here’s their motto: We only cheat when we can’t win otherwise.

  23. Wayne Russell says:

Alex, again some excelent points below here. I have personally talked to 4 of these seniors who received these letters, all regard them as threats. All state they will never sign anything ever again. One old vet thought he would lose his veterans pension? Too me just sickening.

    To: Undisclosed-Recipient:,
Subject: BC LIBERAL FALSE MEMBERSHIPS REACHES EPIC PROPORTIONS

    News Release
6,000 BC LIBERAL FALSE MEMBERSHIPS REACHES EPIC PROPORTIONS
Elections BC yet to intervene as time is running out on Leadership Vote
PORT COQUITLAM – (Thursday, February 24, 2011) – A CBC news story yesterday reporting the BC Liberal Party has been forced to disqualify 6,000 false new memberships in the run up to their leadership election this Saturday underscores the need for a full investigation by Elections BC says BC First spokesperson, Chris Delaney.
Delaney says new information of massive membership disqualifications together with previous information published in the National Post last week showing foreign interference on BC Liberal membership sign ups via Tides Canada, a US based political action foundation, calls attention to the need for immediate prosecution of the matter by Elections BC before a new premier is elected under a cloud of suspicion of voter fraud.
“We requested an investigation by Acting CEO Craig James into the issue of potential voter fraud on Monday, but have yet to even receive an acknowledgement of that request from Elections BC. It is highly irresponsible, and raises serious concerns,” said Delaney.
Delaney says 6,000 false and potentially fraudulent memberships out of a reported 60,000 new members in the Liberal Party represent over 10% of all new signups.
“That is a staggering number, and calls into question the entire process. British Columbians will remember Elections BC’s concerns about 2,200 duplicate signatures out of a total of 710,000 signatures on the citizen’s Initiative petition against the HST. They though that was so serious they sent hundreds of letters to mostly to elderly citizens who had accidentally signed twice, threatening them with two years in jail and $10,000 fines. And they ordered an RCMP investigation to look into the problem at a cost of hundreds of thousands of dollars. They did all that three months after the petition was validated, for what amounted to less than .03% of invalid signatures on a non binding petition.”
“Here we have 10% of potentially fraudulent memberships in a contest that will choose the next all powerful leader of our province – and Elections BC won’t act?” asked Delaney.
Delaney says CBC reported that over 10,000 memberships were challenged by campaign organizers at a meeting of BC Liberal Party officials on Tuesday night.
“We don’t know which campaigns those memberships were from. We don’t know who signed them. We don’t know who solicited them. We don’t even know if there are thousands more. If this is what the BC Liberals are actually willing to admit to, imagine how much worse the problem could potentially be?”
“We need a postponement of the BC Liberal Leadership vote, and an immediate investigation by Elections BC to assure all British Columbians that the vote for the next premier of BC is legitimate. Anything less calls into question the entire results of that vote,” concluded Delaney.

    • Some Other Bob says:

I wouldn’t expect Elections BC to get involved – I don’t think that’s their job. I don’t believe the Elections Act of Brish Columbia deals with how political parties decide which candidates they will endorse or who will be their leader. I’m no expert, but I saw nothing in a quick skim of the Elections Act that changed my understanding that political parties are self-governed private organisations.

Just finished watching the voice of B.C. and if Plecas and Ramsey say is true, then I hope Clark wins the race for leader. According to the two of them the government ministeries are in such a mess with Campbell’s tinkering just before he left. that it will drive her nuts just trying to get a handle on it and then trying to fix it. She will of wished to God she was back at FOX Radio North (cknw) spewing bullshit like before. In her case she might be carefull what she wishes for She just might get it. and it will look good on her.

  25. Mike Boileau says:

Here I sit, Friday morning, the eleventh hour listening to Bill Good and CKNW pull out all the stops trying to make Christy Clark look like the one to beat. Bill Good really challenged Kevin Falcon on all fronts, unlike his soft ball interview with Christy Clark. The 9:00 am news started out with “Christy Clark is the one who can beat the NDP in the next Election”. Campaigning, campaigning and more campaigning for Christy Clark. Dispicable! (as Daffy Duck would say).

    • AGT says:

Exactly. Bill actually had the disgraceful temerity to say that he didn’t know where the Christy fawning has been happening. When he does this, he makes himself a complete joke.

“Falcon upset, Clark cool”, by Marcella Bernardo, 2/25/2011

According to the above report on CKNW’s website, Christy Clark appears to have NO concern about the fact that many Liberal Party members will likely not have a PIN code in time to vote online or by telephone, on Saturday, Feb. 26, for the position of PREMIER of this Province!

So, WHY is CC playing the cool card on this? Many members, who are entitled to vote, may NOT have the opportunity to do so, and it doesn’t really concern her?? Doesn’t this attitude speak volumes about the style of leadership of the overly “confident” Christy Clark, who has YET to be elected to office?

I would like Christy Clark to know that when I heard her views on this, I was immediately inclined to want to ask her to let us know, just how many mass memberships Amar Bajwa, one of her organizers, signed up that makes her so overly confident?

Apparently, the organizer, Bajwa, was known as one of “Basi’s boys”, whom, I understand were the orgzanizers led by Dave Basi, who recruited South Asians to the federal Liberal party on behalf of Paul Martin’s campaign with the objective of controlling constituency associations.

On CKNW this morning, Keith Baldrey mentioned that he is aware that there are some voters in Victoria, who have not yet received their PIN and callers from other urban areas like Maple Ridge, called in and advised that they have NOT received their PIN’s, so it certainly appears that this issue is not just restricted to the rights of some voters, who reside in RURAL constituencies. The PIN’s were apparently, sent by Bulk Mail, via Canada Post and I heard that some areas of the North receive their mail only twice a week.

Is this Christy Clark’s idea of CHANGE? I would urge ALL of you to contact her campaign and make sure that your views are known to this wanna-be Premier. I recall from the outset, that CC was a HUGE proponent of electronic voting. Unless the Party can guarantee that it is in a position to offer an opportunity for a FAIR AND DEMOCRATIC vote to take place on Feb. 26th, I feel that it should definitely be postponed.

Alex, you must get very exasperated by people, who are too stupid to know they are being lied to. Sorry asshole day indeed.

Your posts couldn’t be any more clear. You have made in our faces obvious, Christy Clark has lied over and over. She lies so much, she can’t remember the first lie she has told. She even contradicts herself. I don’t think she is “flip flopping” I really do believe, she can’t keep all of her lies straight. She seems a pathological liar, what ever suits at the time, she says. I could be totally wrong, but, there is something missing in that girl

  29. Kats Miau says:

I have said before that she is just like Gordo but in an skirt … as crooked as they come.
We need to get rid of ALL OF THEM.
What is needed here in B.C. is some HONEST people that are willing to help running this province, since I don’t have much faith in any other so called Politicians any more, be it federal or provincial, and I am sure I am not alone in that assessment, … they all seem to be in it for themselves and NOT the public they are SUPPOSED to serve!!!
I worked hard all my life, I am HONEST and TRUSTWORTHY, why can’t our Politicians be like that but no >>> they have to obfuscate, lie cheat and hold us at ransom with their politics (HST)…<<<
I for one am sick and tired of them spending our Tax $ without any kind of accountability at all…
Fire the whole lot next election, which I hope will come soon!!!
