How Vision’s Mutt Attacks…His Own “Friends”…

I believe I owe NPA Director Manjot Hallen an apology.

As you’re aware, unlike almost anyone else in the press, I happily provide one if I fell it’s necessary. It’s not just about credible journalism–it’s about being an honest man.

In a post I did yesterday about the NPA Dinner, it was Hallen I heavily criticized for doing an “interview” for Vision’s frothy mouthed poodle.

Well, it’s funny how the brown envelopes keep coming…on Basi-Virk…one all sorts of stories…

Ross HOODWINKED Hallen. They know each other, yes. But according to someone who is a real friend of Hallen, Ross was talking to Majot about everything else except politics. There WAS NO INTERVIEW. Ross simply hit the record button and took a personal conversation and pretended it was an interview.

The interview itself caused no shortage of hand-wringing from some NPA Directors I spoke to and others who recognize Ross as someone who is a complete waste of time and totally beneath contempt. Pay him and he’ll write whatever you want. If Groucho Marx will forgive me, if you don’t like Ross’ principles, it’s okay he has others…

Verbatim from my conversation this morning with Hallen’s close friend:

“There’s no way Ross didn’t use a recorder and Manjot is really choked, I think you should know this and I talked to Manjot about it. They were having a personal conversation and then all of a sudden the NPA stuff started. It came out of nowhere. There was no interview at all it was just Ross duping Manjot. Ross just lifted the information from that conversation. There was never any interview conducted believe me. Ross’ is a liar, and Manjot’s really pissed off. He threw in that stuff about Manjot possibly being a mayoral candidate so he could excuse the so-called interview. It was really low.”

Well, there’s no limit to how Vision Vancouver operates. No low is too low.

Remember how Ross lauded Hallen? Recall how he referred to him as his”friend.”

Well, if this is how Vision’s paid propagandist treats his friends….

So to Manjot Hallen, who is a very fine, well-respected lawyer at Klein Lyons (I recommend him and his firm) and is NOT part of the shameless end of the young Indo-Canadian political movement, like Ross, who plays the race card like a fiddle…my apologies, Mr. Hallen, by criticizing you in sitting for an interview with a completely discredited fool. It’s clear you weren’t in any interview (mind, that’s not surprising since Ross wouldn’t know how to conduct one).

Although I really have to wonder what kind of minimum bar you set, Manjot, for making friends with someone…..
