Global Warming DENIERS Are All Big, Bad Conservatives, Right??? It’s a Conspiracy, Right?? WRONG!
There are just some things that you will NEVER read or hear in the mainstream press. Specifically, other than The National Post, the rest have completely missed the boat on the consistently unravelling narrative being promoted by the global warming alarmists.
Se here, like manna from Heaven, is a wonderful example of how people like climate change liar Jim Hoggan should be condemned as the turd merchants they are.
Here, is a story of a proud left-wing professor from the University of Ottawa, who has nothing to do with any conservative agenda or big oil or any of the convenient whipping posts and straw arguments shoveled by twits like Hoggan and his pal Richard Littlemore. The good professor considers global warming alarmism a load of bull puckey, and tells it just like it is. Incredible! He’s a skeptic!
Remember, Hoggan himself, in a shameful tome, that has sold poorly tacked skeptics to Big Oil. It’s a conservative plot, he claimed–paid for by Exxon, among others. Sarah Palin was behind it all. Fox News was another culprit, according to his desmog blog–THE local wellhead of junk science related to climate change.
So, read the story and definitely view the video. It’s astounding, but telling, too, of how anthropogenic global warming is easily the single biggest lie perpetrated on humankind in the last 100 years.
And thanks to fools like Gordon Campbell, Gregor Robertson, David Suzuki, Tzeporah Berman, Marc Jaccard and others that are all part of the same theocracy, their radical green agenda is costing you at the check-out counter and gas pump.
AGW is “an imaginary problem created by the First World middle-class…”
I love it!
Enjoy!

Hi Alex, Isn’t it interesting how these people and the media manage to “sprinkle” the news with items, trying to salvage their long debunked theories? Today’s at noon CKNW (12:08:58) had a cleverly(?) arranged news briefing– “Canada is on track to have the warmest year IF,etc, etc”. I think the growing noses of the authors of these News Snippets must be something astonishing.
[Translate]
Of course…great comment.
[Translate]
Even if AGW is real, there can be no solution without China and India on board and that is just not going to happen. It is absolute insanity to devote the resources that are being proposed (at the city and provincial level) for a problem that may not exist and will have absolutely no impact on the problem if it does.

I have always classified the global warming/green movement as nothing more than a new “religion”.
The holier than thou attitude, the false prophets, the hypocrisy….it has all of the trademarks of religion.
Politically it’s much more simple. The Left realized that the Right had finally recognized that a certain level of socialism is acceptable and necessary. The Right had stolen the reasonable part of their social platform.
So they changed their tune and now preach, “oh yeah? Well vote for us and we can change the weather”
Where are those monster hurricanes that were predicted to become the norm post-Katrina?… maybe they did change the weather…..
[Translate]
I love it! The monster hurricanes were yet another myth perpetrated by Mr. Gore.

He does sound like a real whack. No wonder he can’t get published. Can you give us one that seems a bit less nutty.
You deniers are of course aware that almost 3 million people die worldwide every year from the air pollution caused by coal, and I know you hate that as much as the warmists.
Unfortunately the only real solution to both the coal and the warmists problem, is clean zero pollution dirt cheap nuclear power which the warmists generally hate and Gordo won’t allow – interferes with his IPP retirement plan I suppose.
China is proposing 200 new nuke plants for 2030 sevice and India 60 so at least they are doing something about the coal. In the western countries, we are doing nothing but blather wasting titanic amounts of money on stupid run of the river schemes, wind and solar.
The Repugs in the US are almost all deniers and major proponents of nuclear power. Canada’s deniers over at Brimstone’s CRAP party on the other hand aren’t on with the plan and seem hell bent on getting rid of nuclear power in Canada.
We need an intervention with Brimstone here Alex. Can you help?
[Translate]
I’m trying! I, too, like the clean energy idea(s) but there will always be a market for coal. And the IPP industry is the single greatest fraud foisted upon the people of B.C. It’s outrageous.

Nary a peep about the vast release of carbon from the hundreds of fires burning in this province alone, to say nothing of the volcanic eruptions and Russian fires. Smoke causing breathing issues as far away as Saskatchewan. All of this combined dwarfs any output man has made. So who is going to pay the carbon tax on the fires?
[Translate]
You said it brother…

There isn’t a nuclear power plant in the world that isn’t, and hasn’t been, heavily subsidized. It may be clean but it’s bloody expensive.
[Translate]
True enough. But it’s the philosophical conflict on the left that I love. For years they railed against nuclear power. But now Iran’s insane govt is being fed by another bastion of the left, Russia, and nary a peep from Gore, Suzuki, the Preem, Mayor Moonbeam, etc. The only major answer to global warming arguments is nuclear, but it is, as you say, very expensive and philosophically unpalatable. I love it when the extreme left (or right) box themselves into a corner.
[Translate]
There are no current nuclear subsidies.
The cost of new nukes is less than coal at less than 2 cents a kwh
Heres the cost of the latest Candu $2B/Gw on time on budget built in less than 4 years.. Compare that to site C at $20B/Gw or Waneta at $13B/Gw
http://www.cnnc.com.cn/tabid/168/Default.aspx
Heres the latest American designed NRC approved nuke $1.2B/Gw
http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601080&refer=asia&sid=aJPyNB5Q_Fr0
Even in the US the Tennessee Valley Authority (public power) is claiming 5 cents a KWh and less than $3B/Gw on its new nukes.
You need to get the past Big Oil anti nuclear propaganda.

Alex, I have always viewed the climate change thing as an argument that can never be confirmed or denied. With half the population marching left and the other half right, nothing will ever change except the ever swinging pendulum.
Personally, I like the earth. I hate to see it destroyed unnecessarily. Why make more garbage than we have to? Why not make an extra effort to have less smoke from a stack? Why not promote innovation? If something stinks…clean it up!
[Translate]
Which is precisely why my SUV is a hybrid, we compost, recycle furiously and conserve as much as possible.
But on the issue of climate change alarmism, I have a much different take: No amount of lying can be justified by errants graphs and make-believe charts. The science is hardly settled. Those who advocate hard-line alarmist propaganda only seek to bankrupt Tim the Toolbelt and Wendy the Waitress.
[Translate]
Nothing wrong with cleaning up after yourself an not being wasteful. A number of big city recycling initiatives were overwhelmed by the response from the public when it came to recycling. This shows me that people will follow rational objectives even if it means a little effort on their part. What the general public shows disdain for is the empty rhetoric and the sky is falling mentality of fanatics. I wonder sometimes why the politicians have not realized this yet.
[Translate]
Because the MSM are too cowardly to step in and admit that people like Gordon Campbell and Al Gore have lied to the public; furnished them with almost completely inaccurate information and created cottage industries for their pals to enrich themselves.

The idea our climate is changing is acceptable we see it we feel it , is it a direct link to pollutants weve added to our environment ?
That part is hard to figure out , i like others here do believe we can aid our planest cause living cleaner and smarter with respect to mother nature .
The previous posts relating that without seeing China , India and some other countries truly participate we cant make a huge impact , we should be leaders though we are an educated society in comparison and if we find sensible simple ways to help others may well follow but that may be as good as we may hope for.
The sky is falling side will always say so and in ways it makes us look and think so i guess they serve a purpose too in that sense, and i do think much is to get media attention so they push a hard line agenda because thats what works to do so.

From the August 30th edition of the Guardian newspaper in the UK:
The world’s most high-profile climate change sceptic is to declare that global warming is “undoubtedly one of the chief concerns facing the world today” and “a challenge humanity must confront”, in an apparent U-turn that will give a huge boost to the embattled environmental lobby.
Bjørn Lomborg, the self-styled “sceptical environmentalist” once compared to Adolf Hitler by the UN’s climate chief, is famous for attacking climate scientists, campaigners, the media and others for exaggerating the rate of global warming and its effects on humans, and the costly waste of policies to stop the problem.
But in a new book to be published next month, Lomborg will call for tens of billions of dollars a year to be invested in tackling climate change. “Investing $100bn annually would mean that we could essentially resolve the climate change problem by the end of this century,” the book concludes.
[Translate]
This is no surprise. But to describe any ONE climatologist as the most high-profile skeptic is the kind of rampant hyperbole I expect form the Guardian.
It makes no difference. There is ample evidence by legitimate scientists to refute global warming hysteria.
[Translate]
No there isn’t. It is doubtless that there are many who are using AGW for their own ends and I agree that hysteria is at the least unhelpful. I’m happy that you’re in favour of less pollution, etc., but on the climate file you’re on the wrong side this time.
While I’m up, I was also a bit alarmed at your allusions to Messrs Smith, Wesson, et al. What are you implying? We should all acquire guns and start shooting people we don’t agree with? That we need them to “defend” ourselves? Since when did weapons defend anything? You’re not American, are you?
[Translate]
a) No I’m not. There is ample evidence that any “change” is negligible either up or down. There is also no shortage of information outlining the LIES told by the Suzukis and Weavers etc.
b) Being alarmed over something you have about a half dozen questions over makes sense? I was referring in a general sense to people who have suggested that harm might come to me at my office or home. I’m a registered gun owner and a sport shooting enthusiast. Trying to break into my home would be a bad idea.
c) I am very pro-gun. Weapons defend a great deal in the right circumstances. I’ll be writing about that likely tomorrow.
Thx for your comments and questions.
