Are the Media in Vancouver Finally Awakening to the Clear and Present Danger of Gregor Robertson’s American, Nouveau Hippie Inheritor Radicals?

I’m not sure…yet.

But it is encouraging to read (after they published, late last week, yet another excerpt from ‘I Am a Vision-Paid Whore Masquerading as a Blogger and PR Flunky’–the same guy who bitches about citycaucus.com’s Mike Klassen not being identified as a partisan on Global TV, but is okay with him said flunky being referred to by the Sun as a PR consultant–LOL!) that the Sun are allowing reporters to question the financial ties between Vision hierarchs and their godparents, American hippie inheritors Joel Solomon and Carol Newell.

Having disposed of Vision lapdog, the hopelessly uninformed Miro Cernetig, and replaced him with fair-minded and easily more balanced Jeff Lee, the Sun may be getting somewhere.

You can read a very good probing, here.

And you can read an even better piece by the Vancouver Courier’s incomparable Mark Hasiuk, here. (Along with Mike Howell and Sandra Thomas, they certainly balance off the Courier very well). And add this to the hammering they have taken at the hands of the always enjoyable Province, and you can see the writing on the wall for Vision.

Nevertheless, the bloom is definitely off the rose for Gregor Robertson and his party. And not a moment too soon.

Even the mainstream press are starting to question the shameless shenanigans and quixotic conduct.

Tomorrow….I’ll have a ‘Breaking News’ piece that will have you wondering, AGAIN, just who is really running Vancouver City Hall…while the Mayor and his city council caucus sleep…on your dime!

Until then, Happy Sunday!

Gosh, could this be who the guy from CSIS was talking about? Is Gregor under the influence of foreign agents. By the way where did they inherit all this money? Obviously not from lumber or oil barons. This is worse than religious fanaticism, there’s no one as narrow minded as pantheistic radicals. There’s only one way to heaven, and that’s on a bicycle, one presumes.

  2. Bill says:

Can you imagine the reaction of the MSM if it was a right wing group that had connections to the Nixon administration that had targeted Vancouver to social engineer and succeeded in recruiting and getting a Mayor elected? This should have been front page news before the election and not two years after.

Re the linked “very good probing” article by Lori Culbert:
As soon as they voluntarily say “There’s no Mafia structure” I just gotta think that . . . , well, that there IS a Mafia structure. Is that “Mr. Mysterious” guy with the slouch hat and long drover’s coat that runs a “respectable” Development Consultancy” a Capo or just a scary soldier-enforcer? Certainly Dr B is scary and seems to be in the enforcement department.

All of which brings to my mind the question: Wouldn’t you give me a bit of a break and start calling them the “Bicycle Mafia” instead of using that “F” word, please? I’d feel better about that!

    Cheers!
