Climate Change Doomsterist’s Message to Colleagues: SHHHHHHHHH!
The further slide in legitimacy of the climate change hucksters provides even more hilarity than watching my youngest try to explain why the half empty bag of Oreo Minis ended up in her sister’s closet–when she was the only one “playing” in that room for the last hour, empty milk glass in hand, and with Barbie’s hair soaked and crusted with at least part of the evidence.
Talk about getting caught with your hand in the jar, so to speak…
The IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) has been battered this year, and not just because of ‘Climategate’. Dozens of research papers and hundreds of legitimate climate scientists have chimed in on the fallacy of climate change alarmism and the Gores, Suzukis and Hoggans of the world are left to explain away the hot air they’ve been providing.
So here is another link, to a most interesting strategy suggested to colleagues by the head of the IPCC himself. And it’s really simple.
SHUT UP!. That’s right: belt up, quiet, silence, shut your mouth, zip it, not a word, hold that thought (and every other)–you get the message.
Essentially, don’t act responsibly, don’t tell the public the truth, hide from the media, do not allow your findings or those of the IPCC propaganda team to be open to scrutiny.

I feel you might find the attached report about US surface temperatures interesting and surprising.
As you know, the main basis for fears of Global warming in the US comes from the raise in temperature shown by climate monitoring stations in the US.
The official record of temperatures in the continental US comes from a network of 1,221 climate-monitoring stations overseen by the National Weather Service, a department of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
Anthony Watts, a 25 year veteran meteorologist conducted a research project to see if the information from the climate monitoring stations is reliable.
- He recruited a team of more than 650 volunteers to visually inspect and photographically document more than 860 of these temperature stations.
- He observed that changes in the technology of temperature stations over time also has caused them to report a false warming trend.
- He found major gaps in the data record that were filled in with data from nearby sites, a practice that propagates and compounds errors.
- He found that adjustments to the data by both NOAA and another government agency, NASA, cause recent temperatures to look even higher.
- He found that 89 percent of the stations – nearly 9 of every 10 – fail to meet the National Weather Service’s own siting requirements that stations must be 30 meters (about 100 feet) or more away from an artificial heating or radiating/reflecting heat source.
In other words, 9 of every 10 stations are likely reporting higher or rising temperatures because they are badly sited.
He states ‘The conclusion is inescapable: The U.S. temperature record is unreliable.’
The errors in the record exceed, by a wide margin, the purported rise in temperature of 0.7º C (about 1.2º F) during the twentieth century.
Consequently, he concludes this record should not be cited as evidence of any trend in temperature that may have occurred across the U.S.
during the past century.
In addition, since the U.S. record is thought to be “the best in the world,” it follows that the global database is likely similarly compromised and unreliable.

They have had their theories completely debunked, even by their own ex-followers they and are still decrying the so-called “deniers” while trying to convince the public that “Red is actually Green”. Who are the REAL deniers?

The reason it doesn’t matter whether AGW is true or not is because the end game for the vested interests is not ending global warming but fighting global warming.
Governments – carbon taxes are a new pool of tax dollars to plug fiscal deficits.
Wall street – cap and trade is the new product to replace sub prime mortgages
Climate researchers – tons of research dollars
Environmentalists – slower economic growth and tons of donations and grants
Third world – transfers of dollars from developed countries
Suppliers of alternative energy – subsidies for otherwise uneconomic projects.
Statists – only big government could implement a green agenda
In short, there was no critical assessment of AGW because there were just too many vested interests.
