REBEL TV’s ‘Front and Centre’ Episode Two/City of Vancouver Finally Admits to Problems at Olympic Sites: But You Heard That Here FIRST, Over a Month and a Half Ago

34

In an absolutely shocking admission, Will Johnston, the structural engineer currently doing the job of fired former City Electrician Ark Tsisserev, an electrical engineer, admitted in a Vancouver Courier article today, that the Panasonic tent through the entirety of the Olympics NEVER HAD A FIRE ALARM PANEL. He also admits to other anomalies and tries to explain them away.

Read the exceptional coverage by the Courier, here….and an interesting letter-to-the-Editor by someone you might know. The letter was hailed as ‘Letter of the Week’–and clearly shows how even some long-standing members of the media can be influenced.

So, Mr. Mayor of Vancouver…are you still suggesting that the accusations by me and others in the fire safety industry are baseless? Will you get your propagandist pinhead to put up another post full of lies and spin?  Will you apologize to the citizens of Vancouver for making them less safe?

And wait till you hear in the video below, what the city passed (specifically Mr. Johnston, as a “safety measure”  in case there was a fire at the Panasonic tent…)

Here’s the second installment of Rebel TV’s ‘Front and Center’. Enjoy!

Excellent Alex, I don’t really know what else you can do or say.
Do these people have no shame? Are they just going to hope it all goes away? And yes, Alan Garr is involved up to his neck in politics, we’ve always known whose side he is on, but he better step aside on this one, or he will lose all respect and moral authority in any kind of election or political advancement he obviously craves so badly. Couldn’t pick you up last night but it was definitely worth the wait.

    • AGT says:

Yes, sorry about that. I am told by my web tech that the whole network was down. As it was only for an hour, I hasten to think you must have gone through withdrawal! LOLLOLLOL!

As for Allen Garr, now with his being hired as the bee keeper to City Hall, I do not know how he can write about City Hall matters with any kind of impartiality (or, sadly, credibility). Every time he wites something positive about Vision, he will immediately be labelled a partisan hack.

  2. Glissando Remmy says:

    Alex,

    Well done!
You are the only TV news anchor that I’ve watched carefully in the past 12 years! OK, I’m exaggerating a bit, but just to let you know, that’s about the time when I’ve cancelled my TV cable. For personal reasons. It’s a very efficient parenting tool as well, one day you may have to try it out!

All the best to your little Gina!

Happy Birthday from an almost perfect stranger.

    Glissando Remmy

    • AGT says:

This is VERY kind of you. Gina had a great birthday, although abbreviated since she and her brother and sister have spent the last week and a half battling the flu. And the wife was down too! How I managed to survive it, is beyond comprehension.

  3. thecossack says:

Its Friday, I must be in ….. Bulgaria?

  4. Janice says:

Alex! Super Nova rock star soda! You’re killing these guys. How can the juiced mayor say this is all baseless when his own hire is saying otherwise? No one is providing your detail. Keep singing big man it’s beautiful!

  5. Herb says:

How important can this be in comparison to those two wonderful bee hives that the juice man is crowing about onthe City Hall roof?

    • AGT says:

Ha! And to think my pal Allen Garr wants to feign neutrality….as their new hire!!! To complete the circle, I think Frances Bula should just admit she has a picture of Gregor Robertson in her wallet.

  6. Glen Hall says:

    George Orwell said it best:

“In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.”

One could swear he was referring to socialist slogs like Gregor, Meggs, & Company when he wrote that line.

I’ll let fellow comment-king Glissando do his magic with this Orwellian line if he likes.

  7. Olga says:

    Hi Alex,

Great work! The video looks great and so do you. Regarding the mayor and his minions…lies, lies, lies…It goes on and on and on…It’s too bad the mayor and his minions can’t be fired for just cause.

  8. Glissando Remmy says:

    Ok Alex,

I think I read two references to the “bee hives” and “bee keepers” in your reader’s commentaries! That makes me veeerrrry happy, for I have, just the thing… A little parody shoe I wrote a few days ago during an hour of boredom. And you know what they say “If the shoe fits…”
The question is: “To Bee or not to Bee?”
    Do you like honey?

THE WORKING BEE AND THE QUEEN FLY

I’ve got this note the other day
    From my good girlfriend Emily,
She’s just below my rate of pay
A Hive Hall normal working Bee!

The Hive she’s in, I read, is terrible “in shape”,
Crowded with lazy ass-needle friends of the new Queen,
A Common Fly that walks around in a repulsive cape,
Bee-haves like a baboon. She’s also very mean!

Morale is at its lowest in the colony,
There is no long-term honeycomb perspective,
The Fly Queen’s new approach is… bee colony-oscopy.
Who’s not conforming, gets right on her invective.

When ordering the working ranks she makes this buzz,
Her voice is scary high, sounds like a Honky-Tonk,
But through her angry cacophonic jazz,
The only sound that permeates is “Oink!”

At Hive Hall everyone pretends to pollinate,
    The Honey quality, has dropped,
This unsound situation will not terminate
Before the year’s whole harvest is flopped.

That’s why when Working Bee did not exactly mind
To speak up, she wanted again to be her own self,
“Hey,Queen Fly! That pretend needle you cart behind,
Why don’t you go, and Sting yourself?”

Useless to say, my little friend
Is happier know, that she was slapped
The Queen Fly, they say, will retire in the end,
But trust me; most likely, she’ll be Zapped!

We live in Vancouver and this keeps us busy.

  9. Pedro says:

Hi Alex, finally did watch the video and wonder how, all you wrote and said can be dismissed so easily, however, we must realize the Mayor admits he doesn’t know what is going on, he must be very busy planning the next “City Block Farm” or useless “Bike Lane”

  10. JC Culmer says:

    Alex,

This was much better than your initial effort. More sincere, relaxed, and engaging. Well done!

  11. Kam Lee says:

    agt… a one trick pony.

    • AGT says:

Ladies and Germs… here is one Kam Lee, NDP sycophant and blogosphere propagandist. Enjoy the depth of his intelligence. He has extended himself here….

  12. Kam Lee says:

Since you did not post my reply, I can only suspect that perhaps what I said was correct. So much for fair and honest answer to what you determine is satisfactory to your ego.
    Amazing.

    • AGT says:

Kam: you are one of the idiots I was referring to earlier.

More to the point: I have had my lawyers review Grant Gough’s site. You are part of an email stream werein Mr. Gough suggested I was involved in some “vanished money” regarding Millenium Development and the Olympic Village. I STRONGLY suggest you remove your name, now, from anything attached to me on his fraudulent site.

I understand that you and your pals have nothing to do but smear and character assassinate but this time you’ve gone too far and it’s going to cost you.

      Govern yourself accordingly.

      Have a nice day.

  13. David in North Burnaby says:

This case highlights so much of what’s wrong with the legacy media and wouldn’t we know, you mentioned the epitome thereof, Bill Good.
Booster-ism, cheer leading, parroting whatever line authority gives them in the release, is it any wonder they’re getting killed by the new media? If the public can get the dirty low-down on what’s really going on from your site, Alex and from BC Mary etc, who needs the sugar-coated propaganda/celebrity fluff stuff the dinomedia have on offer?
Keep Robertson and his crew’s feet to the fire, Big Fella. Good job. ;-)

    • AGT says:

Thx David. A;ways a pleasure to have you here, and yes, I agree BC Mary is doing a good job–when she’s not defending the NDP and Moe Sihota.

      • David in North Burnaby says:

“BC Mary is doing a good job–when she’s not defending the NDP and Moe Sihota.”

Indeed, well we all have our faults, although I’m pleased to say that being a socialist is not one of mine.
        Cheers

        • AGT says:

Well, she really is. Her website is super. But when she starts listening to idiots like the Powell River Pisstank and the Kootnay Kook….and then defends them (and Sihota!!!!!) on Oberfeld’s blog, then you really have to wonder… Along with the other four or five blog nuts out there slamming the Premier’s personal life and the Prime Minister’s paunch, etc. Stick to the issues! But then again, when they get to the issues, they start all the same crap all over again and it’s NEVER accurate.

Nonetheless, she does very good work, even though there are some details of the Premier’s Maui excursion that she has DEAD WRONG, but repeats them anyway.

David, you’re a gent. And I always appreciate you coming around. Take care.

          • David in North Burnaby says:

The way I see it (which is rather to my point), we all have our opinions, our biases, our points of view. Anyone with an IQ above room temperature who’s paid the slightest attention to something is bound to have an opinion. Its just human nature. The lame-stream media would have us believe they’re somehow exempt from this.
Don’t eat that, Elmer, its a road apple.
Yes, BC Mary strikes me as quite the socialist, but her reportage of the BC rail sale (which could go down in history with the CPR scandal that brought down that drunken old crook MacDonald) has her on my daily read list with the likes of Bill Tieleman and Terry Glavin. Socialists all.
I’m a Libertarian (we used to be called ‘classical liberals’ of course, until ‘liberal’ came to mean a kind of socialist) and visitors to my blog have no trouble discerning where I’m coming from. I rarely (but not never) agree with socialists on a particular issue of governance or public policy and consider collectivists of any flavor an anathema to the values that (I’ll state unabashedly) made Western Civilization great.
Still, they let me know where they’re coming from, as do the conservatives.
Your site, Alex, has joined my daily list with the above as well as names like Mark Steyn and Kathy Shaidle. Conservatives with whom I more frequently agree on matters of governance and public policy, but disagree on others. Conservatives I view (with respect) as perhaps having lost a bit of focus on those aforementioned fundamental values:

            Individual Liberty
            Free Markets
            Minimal Government
            Individual Responsibility

            e.g.

            http://davidinnorthburnablog.blogspot.com/2010/03/with-conservatives-like-this-who-needs.html

Its not a question of biases, its a question of being honest about them.
BC Mary and yourself, Alex, come at things from very different places in seeking the truth, the key is you’re not trying to BS us about where that is.
            Keep up the good work.

            • AGT says:

Thank you David. And, yes, I agree, BC MAry has done a superb job on the BC Rail file. He work, to this end, has been exemplary. It’s just some of the personal details she has written about the Maui arrest are wrong and some other details about the Premier’s personal life, that, really do not matter as they have nothing to do with govt. Come again soon. Take care.

            • George says:

              well said david ….

“the key is you’re not trying to BS us about where that is.
              Keep up the good work.”

  14. Tom says:

At least Mary is fair and honest. Try it some time.

    • AGT says:

Oh, I don’t disagree that she’s fair and honest. But she’s also inaccurate and misguided.

I’m not honest? Or fair? You are funny. Then don’t come here.
