Remember London and Paris: Muslim Extremism Here in Canada–A Threat

17

Twenty five years ago, the very first (large-scale) wave of Muslims landed in Great Britain–mostly in England, some in Scotland, not too many in Ireland.

I was there for some it. I saw it with my own eyes.

Approximately the same time, there was a marked influx of Muslim immigrants to France as well. Eager, decent, God-loving people, who were interested only in a better life.

Well, most of them. Some were extremists, who, regardless of where they ended up, would have sown the seeds of evil. Terrorism didn’t just appear because Usama went rogue or because Donald Rumsfeld couldn’t contain Saddam, or any other truther drivel you will read about on the internet (no legitimate newspapers would run such stupidity). Muslim extremism was born out of the false teachings of radical clerics who did not like what they saw as a watering-down of their iron-grip of those emigrated to new places. This was then used by other radicals “back home” to fan the flames of anti-Western sentiment.

So, the indoctrination began. And it was easy. Know why? Because when the clerics and hardliners asked for ‘special privileges’ and they weren’t granted, they rose up against the false racism only to inculcate an entire generation of disaffected Muslims–all under false pretenses and make-believe hardships.

Below you will find a link to a classic example of why this country should stop the insanity dead in its tracks. I’m all for religious freedoms, but being able to hide your face except for a wee window for your eyes, is NOT acceptable in my Canada and should not be acceptable in yours.

Stop it. Stop it now, before this gets out of hand and we are all paying for it sooner than later–with our lives.

If this, I’m sure, lovely young woman making the demand in Quebec to wear a niqab,  doesn’t understand this principle, then pack her bags along with everyone else who agrees with her, and send them back to Egypt.

Sorry, but Canadian values are being usurped every day under the pathetic guise of cultural and religious “freedom” and I’m sick of it.

Take your ceremonial daggers, niqabs, etc and get the hell out of here. Get lost.

My parents came here with no language, no supports, nothing. My old man was $50 dollars in debt before his boat even hit our shores. Never took a penny from the government, never asked for a hand-out. And it’s much the same for many of the honourable immigrants who came in that wave from the 1950s and earlier and just after. My mother-in-law raised two well-adjusted and decent kids, while sometimes working three jobs and never collected a penny from anyone or went on any kind of social assistance.

Now we give immigrants more than we give our pensioners, many of whom have not only significantly contributed to Canada, but fought for her too. Think about that: We give less to our veterans. Shame!

You know why I was so exorcised over the opening ceremonies of the Games? Because the HONOURABLE Indo-Canadians, Chinese, Italians, Scots, Brits, Irish, Japanese, Ukrainian, Greeks Filipinos, Czechs, Persians etc. didn’t get ANY recognition as having so very honourably contributed to this land. Nothing. Just because the Premier found (false) religion in native issues and to keep them quiet through the Games.

I welcome ANYONE to this country, with open arms, who can demonstrate their willingness to become CANADIAN–meaning you must conform to Canadian values (how fast do you think my wife or yours would be made to “cover-up” in almost any Muslim country? I couldn’t even bloody well order a drink in most hotel bars when I was traveling through the Middle East years ago).

But if you’re going to start telling us how to run the country, turn around and don’t let the door hit your ass on the way out.

You don’t need to cover your face up be a good Muslim. Allah wants to see your face, trust me. Just in case you end up being one of the 74, or 43, or 58 or 72 virgins for every suicide bomber (I’m starting to think there was a committee involved headed by Mike Harcourt).

Enough.

Read the pathetic whining, here, of course, all being entertained by the useless Human Rights Commission (that should be dismantled ASAP–let the courts do their job)–and all on your tax dollars.

What a wasteful disgrace…

WHAT A GREAT COMMENT ALEX! I LOVED THE WAY YOU TELL IT LIKE IT IS AND DON’T HOLD BACK. I LIKE IMIGRANTS TOO, BUT NOT THE ONES WHO LOOK FOR SPECIAL PRIVILEGES. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK ALEX!

Alex, There was a typo in the Suicide Bomber memo. It wasn’t 74 virgins. It was one 74 year old virgin.

Hi Alex, as I posted elsewhere your approach to the issues with “uncommon” common sense, ignoring “Political Correctness” is remarkable.
The situation you mention is happening all over Europe and Countries such as Denmark & Holland are reversing their liberal immigration policies, realizing their National Identities were being completely “Rolled Over”.
Those who believe it couldn’t happen here are “Dreaming a Fantasy”. Multiculturalism is a strong component of that Fantasy and as many of the “Dreams of the Perfect Society” is bound to end in total failure. It is obvious that any balanced evaluation indicates that integration is ANY COUNTRY survival recipe. I have nothing againts Muslims or Immigrants (I am one) but, the use of niqab or hijab has nothing to do with freedom of Religion, but rather with a Patriatchal Society, trying to keep total dominance over their women.
Those misguided Western? women following this “Habit” should realize the REAL motivation behind their indocrination.
By the way Alex I believe the “precising accounting” is 72 Virgins.

Exactly right. This effort under the thin guise of religious freedom is all about the oppression of women, but did you hear the NDP or any of the classic bleeding hearts talk about it? No, of course not. Know why? Because in their heart of hearts, they want radical Islam front and center, to kill off Israel. That’s their ultimate goal. Israel represents capitalism and efficiency, perseverance and goodness. AND–they are an ally of the United States–the ultimate target of the left. It’s sickening.

As for the virgins…I always tried to stay away from them..except One…

There is an inherent instability in two proselytising religions, Islam and Christianity, trying to share the same turf. Add to that the contradiction between secular and religious concepts of society and you’ve got a risky experiment. Maybe, in the words of the Irish guide, we shouldn’t be starting from here. Certainly the track record historically has not been good. You’re a brave man for entering this forbidden territory!

On the subject of Israel and Palestine, however, I’d suggest adding

to your reading list as a reminder that there are two sides to that story.

Alex – I was taught by women who wore skirts that swept the ground, with sleeves to the wrists and a wimple that covered every thing but her face. They were not abused women and they took voluntary vows of chastity, poverty and obedience. I never thought too much about why, I only knew that I had to obey them and listen to whatever they taught us, which was every subject imaginable. I still hold them in the highest regard. However times change, many left the convents or adapted more secular clothing. They were women of virtue, and of great goodness. In those days even my mother would wear a bandana when entering the church. She seldom does anymore (the brazen hussy) and the only ones who wear elegant hats are usually proud black ladies with grand voices. Like you I detest the veils and head to toe gear with only eye-slits, and many of the younger ones wear it just to be daring. Most don’t, though many wear head-scarves and there is nothing wrong with a little modesty, I’ve always thought, and as Paul said, “A woman’s hair is her crowning glory”. Today you’re quite likely to find some guy in shorts and flip-flops wearing his baseball hat. though I’m quick to tell them to remove their hats, most say it’s better than not showing. Try walking into a Legion with your hat on!

    • AGT says:

Hey, I’m a big fan of the Legion! And, of course, I’d never wear a hat there.

Yes, I agree head scarves are one thing, but being covered from head to foot is not religious freedom: It’s oppression. It’s offensive. It’s archaic and has NOTHING to do with Islam. It’s a misinterpretation of their religion.

Great editorial! The people here going on these crusades are not religious. They are self serving dilettantes that think picking up these sort of causes are “sexy” and want to play it in our face. To the real radical islamic movement they are nothing more than “USEFUL IDIOTS” end quote.

  6. David in North Burnaby says:

The only point I would disagree with is this ‘twisting of Islam’ business.
I think Lt Col West puts it well in this clip

    • AGT says:

You raise a very valid point. This is great clip you’ve provided. Is Islam inherently geared to this type of behaviour? Is “radical Islam” redundant? On the other hand, I have a ton of Muslim friends, and they are some of the kindest, gentlest, sweetest people I have ever had the privilege to call friends. Perhaps I’m coloured by that… Cheers David!
