The Huffington Post’s Huffy Huffing…

4

I’m glad for Ariana Huffington. She started one of the world’s most popular political blogs on the heels of her conversion from conservative to liberal: A most worrisome conversion, that should to good people, if the gods will remain upright, happen in reverse.

But her blog is essentially a receptacle, and often generator, of far-left liberal drivel that focuses on narrow, mindlessness when dealing with almost any issue.

Case in point: The call by Donald Trump for Al Gore to relinquish his rich honours for global warming fraud was pilloried by the Huffington Post.

Whatever may be said of Ms. Huffington’s conversion from right to wrong, it seems that her blog writers cannot quite get any substance in an argument to stand. When dismissing the not so easily dismissible Mr. Trump they thought it best to note how Bill Gates, the world’s richest man actually believed in global warming. As an end point, as if to prove Mr. Gates superiority of Mr. Trump, they notes that the former had a net worth well in excess of the latter.

This is shoddy journalistic practice at it’s best. Regardless of the fact that such juxtapositions do not pass scrutiny, they are the kind of cynicism that has no place in writing today.

You can read the feeble effort, here.

Well I guess if everyone should be evaluating intelligence based on net worth, then Ariana’s good friend Barack Obama, wouldn’t be qualified to run a fried-chicken stand, let alone the mighty US of A.

But, while we’re talking about Bill Gates, sure he’s had overall success that anyone of us would sell our mothers for, however if he always made the right decisions his company wouldn’t have launched several of his operating systems which have been terrible at best.

Even the richest and smartest are entitled to their mistakes………..

……..believing in AGW just happens to be another one of his.

Read it yesterday and it left me scratching my head. Didn’t (and still don’t) get the connection.

No wonder Bourque put it in his site. Comic relief.

When I saw it, I couldn’t believe what I was reading. All of a sudden one’s net worth is the basis upon which one’s opinions are to be relied upon??

Ariana really is quite detestable, I must say…

Never heard of her until now, however I hope not to hear of her again, I don’t like Trump or Gates, “the Man makes the Money, but the Money doesn’t make the Man” however Trump is right, she is totally “out to lunch” making the assumption the lack of snow may be “scoring points” to AGW, she should check the records, surprise, surprise!!!!
